What a total mess.

I backed both the Kickstarter projects, without ever having even installed Pinball Arcade, etc. -- and I am not a happy customer.

  • When the tables released, there was no guide/explanation on how to redeem if you had never use Pinball Arcade before. FarSight just assumed people already had a FarSight login or whatever, and that it was the same as their Kickstarter email (wtf?)
  • I wanted the iOS and PC versions (and responded as such when they asked via Kickstarter) -- it turns out the PC version will probably never see the light of day, because they're trying to use Steam GreenLight to get it voted in/save some dough. If you have a PC version working, just fricken distribute that, no need for Steam. You can always add it later.
  • I went to install the iOS version and I see two programs in the App Store-- a free one, and a paid one. Huh? If I'm a backer, do I need to buy the iOS app, or just use the free one? I installed the free one, but it doesn't appear to have TNG, while the paid one does. Oh boy.
  • I created a FarSight login with the same email as my Kickstarter account -- and I cannot get TZ unlocked at all. I've tried all the directions, etc. with no luck. PM'd Rob Mann and he said to give it another try. Still no go.

So where does that leave me? I helped get the tables converted under false pretenses (PC version) and terrible communications. I feel very wronged as a customer. I have almost no confidence left in the company or your "promises", and truly believe I'll never be able to play these tables. It's just lost money. I will most likely never send another cent to FarSight, and it's a shame, since I was ready to buy a lot (read: all) of the tables offered.

Sincerely,
Another wronged backer
