What table was better than you expected?

So Farsight announces a table, you think "That looks terrible", but when you play it, you become addicted. What tables?

For me, Flight 2000. I couldn't see the appeal but I love it. And, to be honest, most of the season 2 Gottliebs. There was so much hate for Tee'd Off, but I actually really like it. The layout is different from any machine in the collection, and the rules are quite unique to make playing it a very different experience.

Will probably think of more, those are my first thoughts.

Teed Off. I bought it now because I could really play it as Table of the Month. I prefer it over NGG which I played about 10 times so far.

- Centaur: Was initially confused to why people loved this, but now I understand; there's a lot of multiball action here with a large 5-ball multiball.
- WHO?dunnit: Never have seen a picture of it before and thought that I shouldn't care for it, but after playing it for a month, my feelings toward it have completely changed.

Flight 2000, for me. It looked... dull. That, and there was a fair amount of negativity surrounding it's tablepack-mate Goin' Nuts. But, I have to hand it to them, Flight 2000 has become a really fun table, and it doesn't take 40 minutes to play a single game, either.

Victory, Gorgar, and Centaur. I've found myself going back to Victory about as much as any table I play.

For me Flight 2000 was great but Star Trek TNG was another surprise just because I suck so badly at it in real life and I was able to actually learn and enjoy the game. Still quite a drain monster but at least I'm not flushing all my cash.

For me it's Fish Tales.
I've played the real pin many times and never really enjoyed that much. I actually enjoy the TPA version more than the real thing. I can't explain it.

Big Shot

Not that I had any negativity towards it, but didn't expect it to mercilessly slaughter 2.5 months of my life.

Goin' Nuts (seriously).

I don't understand why this table is so hardly hated (pretty fun in the current timed tourney, and the wizard goals add some replay value).

I knew all the tables before they came out in pa. So far they simulate it very well. Cause no surprises when looking at fun. Be it negative or positive.

That's one I really am almost pissed that they released. I'd so much rather have Sorcerer or EBD.

I'm going to say Tee'd Off. Post-Black Hole gottliebs are largely really terrible, but that table manages to have an astoundingly complex ruleset with fun shots, a pretty unconventional layout and a nice retro art look.

High Speed - It's been a lot of fun; what HD should have been. I'm hoping I can say the same thing when LCA hits next month. I played it once at the expo, and had no desire to play it again (neither did anyone else, apparently - it was always available when it wasn't broken).
