Actually, with Cirqus Voltaire's backfield, they seem to have those physics available, at least in a rudimentary form to work in Banzai Run, which is the pinball I would want IRL above all others.

Thanks for the video on how those gambling pinnies worked. My uncle used to fix those for a living, but being a kid, I never knew how they worked.

My worst two of existing tables would be Cactus Canyon and Whirlwind, the second of which I was never any good at in the real world, and IRL, those discs are always dirty and disgusting looking.

Can't remember any real life tables I would hate, cept maybe the gambling ones.

I played Popeye at a pinball show back in March. While it wasn't the most fun table or anything I walked away not understanding all the hate.

Struggling to think of two tables right now. I've got one — Arena. Another Gottlieb Premier classic. I think I walked away before the end of the game.

I think most of the Gottlieb Premier games are crap. Except Cactus Jack's. Always liked that one. SURPRISE, TENDERFOOT!

Which pins would you HATE to see in TPA?!

There are more threads than I can count polling opinions or making suggestions on games FarSight should go after. How about a thread begging them to STAY AWAY from certain titles? ;)

Here's my top 3 worst candidates for TPA: (PS - i had to break it into three posts to post all three videos)

3. Hercules
largest pinball machine ever to reach commercial production. So huge it used billiard balls as pinballs, leading to incredibly slow and dull gameplay.

1. Rolling Stones
I don't hate the band, but this machine has a lame playfield, lame ruleset, lame flow, lame everything. plus a stupid plastic mick jagger cutout jerking around the middle of the playfield looking dumb and being annoying.

I think Orbiter is probably the only pin I can think of that I really have no interest in seeing. But even then I would probably still play it just for the experience.

At this point, any other "Space themed" tables. I'm beyond sick of them.

The only exception would be any "Star Wars" themed tables, cause those are actually fun to play.

Any EM tables or anything older than early 80's. I know that's not the most popular opinion, but my first pin I ever played was Pin Bot...so basically anything that isn't comparable to that if that makes any sense. And don't get me started on anymore piles of cow flop like Goin Nuts.

well, I wonder how many A-list DMD games there are left that don't have a bunch of licensing issues....

There really aren't any I wouldn't buy but I'm not a big fan of the old wood rail style pins. Layouts and rules are usually a little too vanilla for me.
Totally agree on Hercules and Orbitor 1. I really have no interest in either one. But I'm a big Stones fan and find the table to be fun even though you can hit that center ramp all day long if you want too.

Never seen Orbiter 1 before. Yeah, that table can stay away from TPA :)

As for Hercules, I wonder how it would play with a lighter ball? Like maybe a half-weight pool ball instead of a standard one? In its standard configuration, however, yeah, it's terrible.

I would have to also agree on the Hercules & Orbitor 1 choices. I still would like to play the physical tables at some point, but I can't see where O1 would hold anybody's interest for more than a couple of games. And Hercules looks like it would just play too slow to actually be fun.

I would not quite agree about the EM's though - IMO,if the table has something about it that makes it different & fun to play, then I have no problem having some more EMs in TPA. But not at the expense of some good SS/ DMD games.

Well I would be 1 of those that agree with you about the EM tables and anything before the early 80's. There was a game called Frontier that was the first pinball machine I have ever played and did very well in the amount of time I palyed the machine which was constantly after school. Then Black Knight came out with it's mutiball aspect and I have never looked at many tables that don't have some form of multiball. Anyway it's personal preference. I respect those that like EM tables but I steer clear of them. Frontier is probably the only single ball table That I would enjoy a lot.
