Where are my tables in PC version?

Hi all,

I have been having trouble playing all the tables I bought back in 2012 on the Android tablet I've been using since then. There was a flipper lag that I couldn't get to go away. I was told my tablet was now under powered for TPA as it is now and also Android didn't support it for up grades anymore for my device.

So I decided to reinstall the PC version (and Steam that I now have to use) since I now also have a new Win 8 laptop. Anyway I don't see any of the tables I downloaded and can see on my old Android tablet (I am logged in).

How can I get them to show up in "My Tables" on my PC version so I can play the games on my laptop that I have already bought?

Thanks in advance. Dave

It's too bad there isn't a multi-platform purchase option. 4.99/table, 8.99 for 2 platforms or something like that.

I agree. That would be nice and would probably increase their sales. by at least 1/3rd or more. Many people have different devices they own that they would like to play these tables on.

It would be nice. I've purchased every season on 3 devices now. Vita, PS4 and now PC. At 30 bucks a season that means I've spent $360 plus tax just on this damn game. Not to mention the money I threw in on their first kickstarter.

Now that I've actually done the math I'm a little bit angry...

The biggest issue with multi-platorm buying actually has to do with the platform owners.

Apple, Google, Valve, Microsoft, Sony all take a cut of the sales. While the actual percentages are kept private in some cases, lets just say for this argument it's 30% cut. (Btw, I do NOT know the actual values, I'm just the programmer).

If say you bought a piece of DLC on Android, google takes their 30%. Then you want to play it on Steam...how does Valve get their cut? Should they also get 30%? And then what if you play it on iPhone, should Apple get another 30%. And then what if you decide to play it on Xbox, should Microsoft get 30% as well, so then the developer actually loses 20% of the sale? There is nothing in place to handle that on any of their marketplaces. And there is no way that Apple is going to say, I'll take 15% and Google can take 15%.

Another way to look at it. Can you imagine Microsoft being ok with Sony getting a cut of the sales, but a person can then play it on Xbox without paying Microsoft? Or vice versa?

There is also an issue where some storefronts have no way of communicating with another storefront. Google Play store can't communicate with the iTunes store.

As a ps3/4 and vita owner...can I cross buy on these? I only ask as Id like to enter the tournaments but don't have all the tables yet. I tend to play PS4 but tournaments aren't there yet. The tournaments are on the PS3 but I wouldn't want to buy them on PS3 and not be able to use them on PS4 or Vita. I could be wrong, but Im sure if you buy Zen games on PS3 then you can crossplay them on your PS4 and Vita. Just with the info on %cuts across the different platforms, you'd only be paying one platform owner.

Only asking as I haven't tried to crossplay/crossbuy (not sure the correct term). :)

On the comic app I've been working on, we register all purchases on the user account - so when they've bought items on one device (e.g. Android phone) or through our Web store, they can then access them on a different platform (e.g. iPad).

It would be nice to at least offer a discount for people who own tables purchased from other stores... I''ve been holding off buying S3 on Steam for ages :D

No it isn't cross buy between Sony Systems. At least not between PS4 and Vita. I had to purchase it for both. They did have a discounted option at one point, but I couldn't get it to work so I just paid full price for both.

Yeah I agree it would be nice, but it isn't really something they should do.
If we choose to purchase something on multiple devices that's our decision. They certainly don't owe us a discount.

Correct. They don't owe us anything, IMO. I think it would help their sales though.

A PS4\Vita crossbuy option would be perfect.

I guess what I'm envisioning is a process like on a Kickstarter. Would it be possible for Farsight to have a storefront and offer all platforms as options? Make people select their 2 or 3 platforms and distribute the money accordingly.

I know this isn't your area. Just thinking out loud.
