Having played them game... I'm not so sure what the fuss is all about. Yeah it looks great but gameplay-wise, it's not so much. I think in a way it shows how good EM designers were, when a "modern" designer tries his hand at a "throwback" table like this.

I'm with you. I played around five games on it. The sound, art, and cabinet design are all very well done. But the ball times are pretty short and there is the feeling that there isn't much to shoot at when you do get a controlled shot. Many EM's from the 60's or 70's that I would prefer over Nellie.
