I played this one during college, really often in VP and a couple of times now recently at a gameroom. For me the well of souls multiball was my first real OMG moment in pinball, I didn't see it coming and it blew me away. So my fondness for this table is also a bit nostalgic. When I played it recently, it had lost some of it's appeal but that was to be expected with my high expectations. What I still liked is the flow on the table, especially from the ramps and orbits. I like how the modes tie together the movies. There is some great music and speech. The tilting Path of Adventure was still fun to steer with the flippers. I love the little details like the "narrow escape", the "you cheat doctor Jones" shot to the lock area and the fun video modes. It can be a bit of a mess ROM-wise, it's known for being a bit buggy at times. I can understand the cramped feeling a bit, a lot of real estate on the table is hidden. But because it's a widebody, this isn't as bad as could be. There are a lot of different shot options from both flippers. Tastes differ etc., but the fact is also that this table has a firm place in a lot of top 10 lists on different sites. There are a lot of fans.
