Why is there no consistency to the camera angles?

Why are the camera angles completely different on each table and how are they decided? For example playing on the Kindle Fire this is the LOW angle for Class of 1812;

Not very low for the LOW angle. And not much different from the NORMAL and MEDIUM angle.
While on the other hand THIS is the LOW angle for Lights Camera Action;

...well, it is low but a completely useless angle for playing. Almost half of the screen is below the flippers. Did someone consciously program it to be these angles, has TPA not decided what the angles should look like on their games or is computer programming a total crap shoot and it comes out however it comes out? How can they be so drastically different from game to game?

Now try these same views in portrait orientation...

Notice the difference?

For me, it seems the camera views were set for portrait views, not landscape. That doesn't make it right, but it is what it is.

There is a thread in the Android forum that lovingly documents the same issue. Check it out.

I personally dont find the low angle useless at all and generally play in angle 4 in landscape mode on my iPhone. In other views, everything is too small to have any kind of good reaction time in a simulation on a small screen device. At least for my aging eyes.

I would prefer customizable camera angles as a preset we could actually make. How hard can it be to give us a slider on the side in Preferences to adjust the height and angle?
