Wizard goal ideas. :)

What exactly do you mean by "defeat the Power"?

Powerball enters the Powerfield & exits via the top hole.

I did this today, during LITZ. I sent a steel ball up the ramp, Powerball close behind & ricocheted the steel ball into the PB, somehow (extremely luckily) dropping the PB out the top hole & scoring a Mania jackpot. That should be an achievement for real... as well as the two cheaty ones scored from the Camera after it.

I like the idea of getting a really high score as a wizard goal, but I think it's too hard for FS to estimate a reasonable figure - see 1k HOF requirements where it's real easy on some tables and borderline impossible on some. Trying for 1k HOF can be considered a 6th goal though!

Several tables can detect when you skip lighting lock before locking a ball for multiball.

Like CV's Sneaky Lock when the Ringmaster dumps the ball into the Highwire trail.

Or AFM when you sneak a ball in as the saucer barrier is raising.

Or in TAF when you manage to get a ball into the Vault with the bookcase closed.

Maybe TPA should track when you hit all these sneaky dirty locks as a wizard goal?

Any more TPA tables with sneaky locks like these?

I once shot a ball into the MM castle as the drawbridge was going up, but the gate was down, so the ball was caught between drawbridge and gate. Didn't count towards lock.

The TAF and AFM examples are known as "dirty pool", due to the quote that plays when you get it in TAF. Which is cool as it's the developers acknowledging this is a possibility, and rewarding you for it, slightly.

I often use "dirty pool" as slang for a situation where a ball is trapped somewhere during multiball and you can play multiball scoring with a single ball, generally due to a machine fault, but I don't think that is a proper use of the term.

Theatre of Magic also lets you sneak into a ball lock before it's lit.

TOTAN does it weirdly. The ball can fall into the lock before it's lit, but just gets ejected. But there is a sneak-in for the Harem. But Harem Multiball doesn't operate on ball locks. But three sneak-ins gets you Harem Multiball anyway. But that pretty much never happens three times before five shots to start Harem the normal way.

I know I've dropped a ball into TOM's trunk lock even if the trunk is turned the wrong way, and the game allows it.

I just can't remember if the game detects that a sneaky lock/dirty pool event, as opposed to just blindly allowing the lock.

It's a "Secret Ball Lock" and thus specifically detected.

TOTAN has secret ball lock as well, but only counts it once as I recall.

Big Shot - get balls 1-7 and 9-15 in order. It should be all of them though, cause I've gotten the 1-7 on accident before.

This is just a joke, but to take it a step further, El Durado - all targets in order. No way no how

I am going to predict some Wizard Goals for Starship Troopers:

- Destroy the Brain Bug
- Complete a Recon Combo
- Collect a Live Fire Super Jackpot
- Collect a 120m Super Nuke Jackpot
- Begin the attack on Klendathu
