Agreed that we definitely need leaderboards for 3 and 5 ball games.

Also, can some of you iOS guys go write a review for this in the App Store? So far I'm the only one who has done so for this version. We need to get the word out! :)

I agree Jeff That being said i believe i read somewhere that most of the arcades etc had the tables set at 5 balls Can't remember why. Maybe pinball wasn't as popular as it was in the states and they were trying to drum up interest (at that time). For the life of me i can't remember where i read it.

Anyone on the forums (our older international friends) remember playing zaccs in the 80s? I was curious about this and tried looking into this with no luck. I was wondering if they were set to 5 it was because of bang for the buck or because the tables were pretty drainy. I know today every EM and early SS I play on is always set to 5 - not sure if that is because of tradition or because they are competing with newer machines around them.

I have never seen a coin operated EM/SS set to 5 balls out in the wild, and I was a true pinball addict as a child. 5 balls must have been an absolute exception.

Doing it now! I forget that the reviews change with each update thats not fair to the developers! We need to remember TPA as well

hate to ask - but i have troubles posting a review to the app store.
I open the app store on my iPad, do a search for the version of zacc that i have, click on write a review, it pops up the first review i wrote for zacc (and not sure if it ever went through either), add an update on the new and improved physics and then hit send.

and nothing seems to happen, does it take a while to post or do they have admins approving the review before it posts?

It does usually take awhile to post. It should show up in a day or so. It's probably either an approval thing or a server cache thing.

Reviews are regional, so you probably just can't see mine :)

Zsolt please check the slingshots because the ball drops dead on the rubbers too many times, this sure happens every now & then on a real table but on the Zacc sims it happens just too much and doesnt seem natural.

It also happens regularly that the ball hits the slingshot rubber on high speed, gets kicked on really low energy, falls back on the rubber and gets kicked again on low energy,, in both cases the ball falls down to the flippers and frequently i lose my ball between them, this needs to be tuned and occurs on all tables.

Which table(s) are you talking about? Definitely not " high speed". Hot wheels?

Today for experimentation I made an extreme physics setting and found some interesting behavior. Starting from 'simulation' default setting, I set Playfield Tilt to 0% and Ball Velocity 0% as well. Obviously the ball now behaves quite unnaturally but what I find interesting is how the ball builds quite a speed upon hitting objects multiple times, or by multiple hits of bumpers or slings. To me the degree of acceleration is disproportional - it builds speed too much from the state where the ball hits nothing and thus really slow. I felt the same thing on the old physics engine and it was much unfavorable. With new engine the situation is much better but I still hope this part of ball behavior could be improved. New engine is good! and it could be pushed a bit further :)

BUG - sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I don't have time to read through the 9 pages. Well it's just that when I get a call while playing, then just let it ring (because I'm antisocial and never answer my phone). It'll switch back to the app without any sound. But when I click on the sound option, it says it's fine. So then I have to close out the app and load it back up to get the sound back. Again, sorry if this is not a new thing

Also, it would be really cool if in the options we could select 'always use (place name here)', just so that it doesn't aske me to enter my name every time. It's just laziness on my part, but once you think about it, one less click allows me to play a split second faster. (That's a really minor thing, but just a thought)

I notice this quite a bit as well.

I checked them and made some modifications. Now only a few hits dropped as I see. The next update will include this change.
