Dead bounces! You made my day, Zsolt. The willingness to take feedback and improve on your product so quickly instills a lot of confidence. Continue your work with the physics, add leaderboards and I'd be in Zaccaria heaven.

Quick question: What is simulation mode and how does it differ from regular play? Is it free or a paid DLC? Are the physics improvements only for this mode?

Looks very nice. Really looking forward to this update after seeing that gameplay video. If the first three tables play as well, I'll be very happy.

Considering this App is going to be serious stuff and there will be 25 Zaccaria tables, isn't it an idea to create a Zaccaria subforum?

Arcade mode has the old physics setting, Simulation mode has the new one, but both modes have better ball movement. It's free :)

Yes, all the changes are reflected to previous tables too.

First of all, I’d like to reiterate what everyone has been saying. I’m glad that Zsolt is participating in the forum here, and I’m really excited by some of these upcoming improvements. I’m looking forward to playing a bunch of new tables, and I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger on the Gold Membership. Having said that, I’ve got a couple of random comments.

In Age of Pinballs, there’s “Classic Pinball” and then there’s “Hardcore Pinball”. I can't be sure, but it seems like the only difference between these two is the speed of the ball. The physics don't seem to be affected like in the upcoming “Simulation Mode”. Everything's faster, sure, but even in hardcore mode I can never trust that I’ll be able to pull off a dead flipper pass, for instance.

So, my question is this: Can we expect for “Simulation Mode” to make its way over to your other collections? I’d love to play the Age of Pinballs and the Art of Pinball tables with these new engine improvements.

And while we're at it, can we get an option to remove the “slow” and “rewind” features, for a more pure game? I never use these features, and the icons are cluttering up your lovely tables. Actually, the camera and menu icons are also eye sores, in my opinion. I’d love it if we could optionally remove all onscreen clutter, and if we could play with only the table and the scoreboard. I don't know about everyone else around here, but once I find the camera angle that I like, I don't really fiddle with this. And something that's persistently onscreen should be for something that you're likely to frequently use. And like I said, I adjust this once, and after that, it's just clutter. To get to the menu, and to pause the game, we could maybe just tap on the scoreboard. This way, we'd be able to safely get rid of that icon, too.

Of course, the ability to hide all of this stuff should be an off-by-default preference. The casual player is likely to need these things. But for the seasoned player, I think it would be a welcome preference.

And another thing, while I’ve got a captive audience: Why aren't Beast Master and Fire Fighter included in the Art of Pinball pack? I bought this table pack in Age of Pinballs, to try and consolidate everything, but only four of the six tables are available in this table pack, meaning I still have to keep on my device both Age of Pinballs and the stand-alone Art of Pinball app. Can we expect these other two tables in a future update? Or is there a reason they were left out?

Sounds like set it on Simulation mode and never look back to me.

Yes. I wonder why there will be an option between the two modes? Simulation seems the most realistic, why choose less realistic? We'll have to wait and see.

I agree. Please get rid of the icons, they are too big and look childish. If there is an urgent need to keep them, then make them smaller, and more semi-transparant for example, so that they will be less obvious. But my vote to remove them, the cleaner the better.

Many thanks Zsolt for making changes unbelievably quickly and for the videos. The physics are way way better! I think even little bit more bounce might be nicer on the various rubbers but that hard to judge from the video, but I am sure the feedback will flood in after the release.

Got to congratulate you on the look of the tables too. The lighting looks really nice. I need to buy the wife an IPad now :)cool: nudge nudge)

I don't even notice them when I am playing.

Yes, you can. A simulation mode in Age of Pinballs would be great, maybe by a replacement of hardcore mode.

This feature sounds resaonable, I think we will implement it by one of upcoming update.

According to our plan there will be an update for Age of Pinballs sometimes that comes with an Art of Pinball table pack 2 (Beast Master, Fire Fighter and a new table).

Yes, there is an option that changes arcade and simulation mode. We kept arcade mode because some customer prefer easier gameplay than realism :)

@Zsolt...once again, please don't make us Android users wait too much longer. Thanks to FarSight Studios, there is definitely a huge market for real world pinball simulations on Android.

I hope for you and all other Android users to play Zaccaria pinball some day, but please.. give ASK Homework time to make this App perfect. We don't need a second FarSight with multiple platforms and no time left to fix issues or do proper graphics.

Zaccaria is in early development and it is so great to see that they are shaping this pinball simulation into a diamond. Kuddos to Zsolt and his team!
