Ah, OK then. Thanks for adding that clarification, Carl. As I said, I don't really have an eye for fine graphical detail. I'm jealous of dudes who can watch a game being demoed at an event and tell you what framerate it's running at.
Oh, well then, no offense, but you aren't very good at pinball. I'm not trying to be antagonistic, but nudging is pretty important to the vast majority of pinball players and absolutely essential to posting competitive scores as well as completing most of the wizard level table goals in TPA.
I suppose this is not an art issue per se, but I didn't want it to get lost in the noise. I'm playing TPA most frequently on an Xbox 360 hooked to an ASUS LCD computer display via HDMI. On this setup, the DMD that's mounted in the playfield (not the toggleable, floating one) has constant screen...
BWAAAAAhahahaha! I did the exact same thing. It scared the everloving crap out of me. I think I quit playing video games altogether for a good while.
Let me tell you about how many of my friends were dismayed to find they weren't actually Guitar Heroes in real life. ;)
While I'm jealous of the DLC schedules on the phone platforms, this game remains about 300% more fun to actually play on my Xbox due to the physical flipper buttons and analog nudging. I am absolutely worthless with touchscreen inputs on any game that involves timing in some way. I played TOTAN...
Heh, I got this one on accident before even reading the rulesheet. All I have left on CV is to start the ringmaster battle. That's a lot of ringmaster shots without accidentally collecting all the other super easy marvels first. After that I'll be down to just MM's video mode and BftK, which as...
The left side of the TOTAN backbox still has that jank, mirrored side art with the backwards Williams logo. Every time I see that backwards logo text it makes my freakin' teeth itch. Admittedly, I have clinically diagnosed OCD, but still; it just looks so amateurish.
Welcome to the forums! I love the score chasing idea. I always really enjoy that feature in games like Shadow Complex. And to your point, it's even more relevant and exciting in pinball, where score is king (goals are fun too though; thanks for those, FarSight). Though I hate that we keep...
Nah, shake it off, bro. I am responsible for all of the actions I took, and I had the £18 to blow on the off-chance anyway. I just wanted to post a follow-up to prevent others from wasting their time/money.
Trip Report: Guys, don't do this. :( I created an en-GB gamertag, had a Brit friend send me a points code for it, and tried to buy the content. Got ye olde region error so setup a VPN tunnel to a UK-based proxy. Bought and downloaded the content. Bam, same error. But now the points are actually...
