Hey Mad07,

This may have been because of a bug we had in our last android update (1.29). Do me a favor, download the latest update (1.30) and see if that fixes it. If not, please let me know and i'll get right on it!

I just downloaded the newest update, and HRC isn't kicking the ball back into play if it drains real quick (within 30 sec). Is this a bug or is this is how the real machine works?

Bug : Multiball modes all tables, all multiball modes end up with the ball stuck in the plunger alley with no launch.

Frequency 100%

Reproduction any time multiball is active.

TOURNAMENT LEADER BOARDS - BROKE

PROBLEM: All table leader boards present NONE except GORGAR leader board which is displaying the scores from CACTUS CANYON

DEVICE: Galaxy Tab 2014 (10.1)

OS: Android 4.4.2

TPA: v1.30 (18 JUL 2014)

REPLICATION: 100%

All leader boards except GORGAR list NONE. Play a full game of CACTUS CANYON and score will post to GORGAR leader board.

IMPACT: Tournament in progress; no way to track scores. CACTUS CANYON scores normalize in the MILLIONS while GORGAR scores are typically measured in THOUSANDS.

Additional Notes: Overall standing does not seem to be effected, but there is no way to be sure without table leader boards being posted and/or aligned correctly. If you switch them back and leave the GORGAR scores being posted from CACTUS CANYON then there is no way that customers joining the tournament after the fact will stand a chance of posting points on GORGAR. Request that you not just fix the bug but put the scores that have already been posted in the proper tables. If you have to, and I hope not, it would be better to truncate all the tables after the fix rather than mix-and-match scores; the tables do not normalize by score well at all.

Scumble, the second patch with the plunger bug fix should be labeled as version 1.28.2. The second number in the version id should only advance when a new table is released. The third number is advanced for minor updates such as the last two you guys posted on Google Play...just FYI.

Bug question: on High Roller Casino, the ball doesn't relaunch if you lose it quickly (within 30 sec) or drains immediately. Is this a bug? I downloaded the latest update an hour ago and it doesn't relaunch.

Sterns of this era seem to not have the Ball Saver active by default. TSPP is the same (very frustrating).

Verified the Leaderboards are back to normal again. Looks like the scores were being posted, but were just not being echoed back to us when calling the leaderboard for the table.

Device/OS: Nexus 7 4.4.4

Bug Description:Camera angles do not change

Steps To Reproduce: Launch any table and try to change the camera angle

Frequency: 100%

Additional Comments: My Nook died the other day so I decided to purchase a Nexus 7. Upgraded it to 4.4.4 and downloaded PBA. Noticed on all of the tables I cannot change the camera angle at all. I hear the sound as if it was changing camera angles, but the number stays at 1 and it is the drawn back angle. This makes some tables like Black Knight almost impossible to play as you cannot see the lower flipper in the upper playfield.

Hey esp2000,

I just tried this on TOTAN and Black knight and I WAS able to change the camera angles. Have you downloaded the latest version of the game? Is this in portrait, landscape or both? Any other steps I can try to reproduce this bug with?

I am able to change the camera angle in the plunger all that I want and it will adjust accordingly. Once the ball is launched I can change the camera angle once and it will then lock on angle 1. I do have the latest version of the game from the Google Play store. My Nexus is also unrooted as well. Let me know what additional information that you would like to have.

Do you have a padlock icon displayed in the view?

Can you long press on the view button to toggle the lock state on and off?

Never knew that could be done. What is strange is it appears to be the opposite on my system. I did not have a padlock on the camera view at all, so I tried to hold down the camera button as you suggested and the lock did appear.

With the lock showing I can change my camera angles, and with the lock turned back off I cannot. I would have expected it to have been the opposite since I never had to do that before.

That behavior is very strange indeed. At least we were able to get to the bottom of the issue for you, in some way at least.

Seems the bug for the Table of the Month Sponsor Add still exists, can only play 1 game of Cactus Canyon (previous month was plagued by this bug too btw) and upon starting 2nd game Pinball Arcade crashes. Normally it would load the Sponsor Add but as of June it just crashes. This is with latest version of game on Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2. Might try reinstalling to see if that fixes it, if not then please fix this very annoying bug.

The workaround is to re-launch the game with the "Game Setup" menu, and not the "Start" button. The sponsor advertisement is still not shown, but the app won't crash (or at least doesn't crash for me.)
