Merged the two T2 threads into one.

No problem. I was wondering what happened since I rarely double post. :p

I had started up the Thoughts on.. thread to keep up continuity, as someone seems to do this every table pack and I felt this one would get lost in the shuffle seeing how it was posted as a question on when T2 would be released.

I played this a bit last night. The backglass is definitely waaaaaaaaaaay too pink but I don't really care about that. The rest of the table looks pretty good, IMHO, though the skull could obviously be better. Seems like a pretty fun table and seems to play pretty well. No huge issues jumped out at me in the half dozen or so games I played. I'm generally pleased though. I definitely think it could have looked better but this also isn't some Harley Davidson or STTNG "pink nightmare".

Yeah, the backglass really shows off the pink lighting. No biggie, like you said, but I'd like to be able to check out the backglass detail.. perhaps on the PS4.

Yes. we are at the mercy of PSN and their code system. I let them know it's urgent the codes work today. I stressed the importance to them in about 5 different conversations. If it doesn't work soon, we will make sure to get everyone taken care of as soon as we can. New codes or whatever we can do.
How odd! I got my code yesterday around 6pm EST and it worked fine for me. I should note that I redeemed it on SEN's site and not on the PS3. I downloaded the table a few minutes later on the PS3 through my download list.

I'm just liking this table a lot. It still has the directness and punch of the pre-DMD era, where the games didn't center around watching animations as your ball loops around ramps.

Plays great. Never played it in real life AFAIK. The left ramp seems to be a STM drain if you miss it, but with a little nudge you can prevent that.
What is it with me and these premium tables ? I seem to be getting into the top 100 more easily on them. I'm in top 100 in Twilight Zone, STTNG and now also in T2 (but I guess it'll change when people start playing it more, I was ranked 17th when I stopped playing last night).
(Note: I was quite good at the real life TZ and STTNG when I was a young lad too :))

What about bugs? On iPad there's one that the skull lock will not work (with the ball pasing right trough it) and the cannon didnt shot propperly sometimes... havent experienced any of these on PS3 though...

I've had the ball shoot right through the skull a couple times now in the PS3 version--that isn't by design, is it?

Also, I agree with what others have said about the outlanes being unusually forgiving. Anyone know how this compares to the real version?

2.62b. A little better than my best score on the physical table. Leisure Time, Oxford Street, Manchester in the summer of '91.

I've had the straight through the skull happen on iOS a few times too. So I know FS is aware of this issue. But I'm not sure if they fixed it yet.
On the real pin the vast majority of my lost balls are SDTM. Not many down the outlanes.

T2 is there best work in terms of ball/flipper physics in my opinion. I think it's because i like this table too much. If only every table had the same feel as T2 ;).

Yep. I've had it happen on PS3 once and on the Kindle Fire HD a couple times.

While they will most likely fix iOS and Android/Kindle we will probably not see it fixed on the PS3.

A great table but two possible improvements.

1. As others have noted the colours just seem off (Shades of pink). It actually looks more true to life on my Ipad 3 (It shouldn't). Does Farsight have pink light bulbs or something? ;)

2. Also the right flipper just feels weak. Don't notice this on any other table, just T2.

just got it and it feels weird. I wish my event camera worked or I should say didn't work, the constant zooming in and out is annoying especially on the pop bumpers really takes away from the realism. Aint that your goal FS realism? last time I checked you cant do that and it would look really weird if you tried :p

I just had this image of someone "zooming" in on shots on a real table. I believe it would look like you're trying to have carnal relations with the table or in the case of Funhouse, carnival relations. :D

Sorry, but I do have a life which includes a full time job (which is not this forum) and my family. I do still try to update when time permits, but I haven't had much extra time lately.
