Keyboard player here, been that way on PC pinball since the Full Tilt / Maxis days. Couldn't get behind a controller apart from consoles. The way I play, I want the experience to parallel that feeling of a real machine, and keyboard makes more sense to me. A traditional controller with just 1...
Side by side comparison, in case anyone's interested -- FX3 vs Unreal:
FX3 looks great as usual, but Unreal is looking sharp and vibrant! I can only imagine what the other Williams games will look like. That being said, I wonder what kind of graphics settings are utilized in the Unreal version.
Added a few more issues:
Creature -- Sound issue regarding getting Popcorn
Fish Tales -- Physics issue regarding post between the right wall and targets
Zen did release a patch earlier today for Steam, and will be released later for consoles.
It might be Volume 7, it might be something else entirely. If you paid attention last episode, you might have noticed a new decoration in the background.
Master list officially updated. Please take note of any changes made below and on the first post of this thread. Thank you!
As of Steam update, December 9, 2021:
FIXED:
Hurricane:
Ball can get stuck at the entrance to the dual Ferris Wheels (entering the blue one). Classic Arcade.
No Good...
Apologies, I don't have monitors that allow me to physically rotate to portrait.
I'll figure it out somehow. From what I remember, seems to be a process or memory issue.
Well, good news, I managed to install the game.
Bad news, the menu is incredibly choppy and every time I attempt to launch a table it crashes. Don't know why.
I'm having problems installing this game on Windows 10, but oddly enough I had no problems installing Pac-Man: Adventures in Time on this build.
What kind of DRM / installer is on this CD anyway?
Alright, let's lay things down first:
Pinball FX is an Epic Exclusive on PC, starting March 2022. That's given. My best guess relates to what Supergiant Games did with Hades; it doesn't matter what state the game is in when it releases to the public. The countdown clock to Steam starts then...
4 new tables, same old song and dance. Operation Wolf is based on the Fire Mountain remake on the Zaccaria app.
Can't seem to figure out Zoo Keeper (if anyone has ideas for that and Rastan Saga, drop 'em in!).
Elevator Action:
Chack N' Pop: Take a WILD guess.
It didn't really start out this way. Even the earliest of Zen's titles were exclusively on individual platforms, back in the FX1 / early Zen mobile days.
The Web actually has three more separate views, each with its own lower backbox. I'm not sure if that helps, but it's a consideration to use that view and crop the grill from the game.
Zen Pinball Party before FX, it seems like. Zen's wording of "currently" greatly implies a timed exclusive before arriving on other games. What's yet to be determined is how long before these tables arrive -- Dread Nautical was 6 months both on Apple, then on Epic.
As for the regular iOS game...
Funnily enough, Epic is getting out-exclusive'd right now by Apple with Zen Pinball Party.
Regardless, it's more than that for me. Epic is loaded with privacy and security issues, which can't convince me to use their storefront. Yes, I did try Fortnite, but long term, I ended up not liking it...
