Lost ball 3. End of ball bonus given. Score is 294,500. Voice says "Mission Accomplished", now the game just sits there and does nothing. Doesn't end, doesn't give me a new ball.
I think I want my five dollars back. I'm really tired of the complete lack of quality control in these releases...
Up to 118 billion now. First time I got RTU three times.
One thing I had been forgetting was to actually use the martian bombs. If I have that last martian to get during attack, I can use the bomb if the counter is near zero. Also, it's been said before, but stacking MA/MM and another multiball...
I believe it had been mentioned that the saved state was implemented simply to allow the game to load faster and more efficiently.
As for date/time though, I know at least in the case of AFM on PS3/Vita it pulls the date/time from the system itself... I've seen the RTU post-game screen reflect...
They should really fix that so that only the truly game-changing options would be the ones that disqualify leaderboard posting. I'd much more likely buy pro tables if that were the case. All they'd have to do is something like mark certain options (like ones that affect EBs and scoring) a...
Strangely it's only happened to me once on this game, and believe me the thought of it scared the crap out of me all during my 998 million game.
It's a pervasive bug across several tables. It absolutely destroys EATPM (I had a 400 million+ game ruined by it, still on ball one, with 4 EBs)...
Whether it's a bug or not, just let the ball go. Save your tilt warnings... you have a much better chance at racking up million plusses with just two balls anyway.
That looks just like the bug that has happened to me on Taxi and a couple others as well (buttons end up acting as the START button)
If this is the same bug, then the trick is to just be sure you don't press anything at all until the game is ready to actually accept your input for the initials.
Yeah, you do see momentarily what it is, but it disappears.
The text in that sequence does this sort of strobe-like blink... probably something the TPA engine can't handle properly for whatever reason.
The one frustrating thing about this game is you can have a very long game WITHOUT scoring a lot of points. I had something like a 45 minute game last night (estimating) but didn't even break 50 billion. I wasn't getting any MM stacks, generally flailing on the TA rounds, and only got to RTU...
I've been wondering too about just going for MB/TA and just kind of let RTU happen if it happens... after all you can just about score as much on one good round of TA and get many many TA rounds if you're going for it more often.
I finally got to play a real ATM a few days ago. There's one at a...
Even when you are one jackpot short of lighting the super and MB ends, you STILL have a couple seconds to shoot at that last one, and it will STILL light SJ with the grace period... so yes, this game is very lenient about these things.
Got up to 90 billion last night... man, I was just a couple shots away from a third RTU as well. Just needed the super jackpot and I had one more shot left in MB to light it, and I didn't get it. That would have put me over 100B (at least, assuming I would not have failed RTU, and I haven't...
Just noticed last night they erased the #1 score by "www.***studios.com" (which was around 13 million)
(now if they'd just erase the rest of the bogus top scores too...)
Funny thing is, on Vita, you can still do PRECISE plunges when you use the touch screen. I imagine it's the same on Android/IOS. So they really only nerfed PS3/360 on this.
