As the consumers, of course we want what we want and we want it now. Just because our desires are not being met does not mean the companies we want stuff from are failing.
Everyone was loosing their minds over the fact Marvel wouldn't reveal any of their plans post Endgame, and that started a...
Here's something to consider...
On Twitter Zen has been heavily promoting the 19 Star Wars tables coming to Switch. Not only is this a digital download, but they are also going to have physical copies in the stores and it's gonna sell for $30. That comes out September 13th. It's more than...
There are 6 left.
For Williams it’s Jack*Bot, No Good Gofers, and Tales of the Arabian Nights
For Bally it’s Cactus Canyon, Cirqus Voltaire, and Who Dunnit.
Assume that’s how the packs will be divided too, we just don’t know which will come first.
Licensed tables will not be mixed with...
Other than Mel saying they wouldn’t make any rule changes, that is. That’s the reassurance he gave regarding the enhanced versions. I believe that is a self imposed rule though, not one handed down by Scientific Games. That’s why I keep pushing for them to do Cactus Canyon Continued when they...
I’m certainly all for Zen doing these machines. I want Medusa and Vector from that era. I own an actual Eight Ball Deluxe, have it in TPA, and still would want Zen to do it. The reality though is by the time they finish off the alphas, they might have an agreement with Stern and will focus on...
It’s a big mystery what Zen plans on doing after Volume 6 finishes off the unlicensed DMD. They went that route to appeal to their Zen base of customers who like deep rule sets, plus they lent themselves to the enhancements. There is a very long list of alpha numerics to get through after that...
Yes, a convert! That makes me happy.
GotG is sort of like No Fear, where you are shooting at lanes rather than objects. I know I tire of that as I like bashing things, so maybe that’s part of no feeling it. Deadpool is one of those you have to learn what it wants you to shoot and in what order...
Welcome back! It’s been relatively sane with collecting. I think the changes Zen made did the trick. Other than that, I’ve been posting challenge vids to YouTube to help people, and started a Twitch channel doing it live on mobile.
Everybody does love hating on Iron Man, but I really like it for some reason. Other than the music. I tend to turn it off specifically for that table. But it’s got a ton of shots to complete and getting to wizard mode feels like a real accomplishment.
I'm a fan of the Core Pack because Wolverine has a playfield like you'd find on a real table, Blade is interesting in a good way, and Iron Man is devilishly hard. I'm just meh on Spider-Man.
I love Fear Itself, but the others in the Avengers Chronicles are dependent upon what kind of layout you...
Are you referring to the rear left ramp? That’s the only one I struggle with and that’s on mobile with running ball shots. Captured ball, I can hit it. So no, it’s not impossible, far from it. To me it’s like the dragon ramp on MM, where it’s like the ball spin is preventing the ball from making...
I don’t have any affinity for Who Dunnit, but I do like the other 2. Flip the coin and you’ve got a Lawlor table (my faves) and TotAN which desperately needed an overhaul in TPA. So option 2 is what I’m rooting for. Now if you told me Zen was doing CC Continued, I probably would be more excited...
I really hate the way TVs come out of the box, because they are set to a default meant to look good in a show room next to other TVs, not how they should look in your home. Turn off all the post processing junk on your TV. That means stuff like TruMotion or 120Hz mode, turn off auto anything.
I...
Interesting. Though I can’t imagine anyone was actually going for top of the board while doing a challenge. You’d have to start prepping to go out on a big point drop, goosing your score to the edge before triggering the event, while worrying about challenge timers and such. No thanks!
Good questions all, and I have no freakin' clue what the answers are!
My suggestion is to go into the leaderboards, look them up by challenge, and mark down what your scores currently are and for what type of challenge. See if you can beat your own score. If a 24 hour cycle has passed, see if...
