It's on their "to do" list, and I trust Zen a lot more about that sort of thing than I ever did FarSight. Still, we need to keep the pressure on regarding getting the new Williams flipper physics applied to Vol 1-3 as well as any future Zen Originals release. It also wouldn't hurt to always...
We asked for a little more time with the betas. They gave us that!
To be clear, we’ve had the beta since the very end of July, but obviously all focus was to be on the Switch getting Star Wars. That’s why I waited until after that release to even mention being in beta. Mel said I could say...
That was with FarSight. We’d have it for the 2 weeks prior to release, meaning next to none of our suggestions for fixes would get implemented. Zen typically has given us a much longer period, but nowhere near as long as with this next pack (not that it needed it).
Welcome to the forum, glad you discovered the app.
We all had this initial thought when first looking at the app, though I'll say I've got apps on my phone right now that have over 5 different currencies to keep track of, and tons more customizations.
Here's what you'll discover; Zen has...
Well don’t hold me to it, as I’m a bit fuzzy on the timeline. I know it came out on iOS in December or January, then hit PS3 in February. I believe I joined this forum in March, and I think it was then April when that first DLC hit. Need one of the other old guard to jump in and confirm.
Agreed.
I mention it every time I chat with Mart, the Gottlieb license is right up Magic Pixel's alley and should be a gamble they go all in on. I know they are small and struggling, but it's such a slam dunk maneuver for them to make and I think their audience would only grow because of it.
FarSight released the initial 4 pack of tables, TotAN, Black Hole, Ripleys, and ToM. I believe it was 2 months later that the first DLC landed, the 2 pack of Medieval Madness and Bride of Pinbot if I'm not mistaken. Thereafter it was 2 tables a month (with a week or 2 buffer) for the next 8...
I'm loving year one.
I questioned how much fun I'd actually have playing tables I'd already been playing to death in TPA, and then I played the Classic Physics and just got a grin going from ear to ear. As a beta tester, I get plenty of time to actually test tables and make suggestions that...
I’m not trying to battle. When the boys at FarSight first told me of it, they told me it was a reskin with all new graphics and DMD. It’s the same with Pinball Tournaments app where it’s a reskin of Fireball and slight alteration of rules. So in terms of how the built the tables, it started with...
I think Medieval Madness got released by Zen in September of 2018, and AFM came in that second pack in October, right? I honestly don't know but that is what I'm trying to make sense with. It really should just to a quick date check with your computer, I'm sure Zen could drop that line of code...
I've gotten so used to playing the Daily Challenges on mobile, and that uses Zen physics, that it throws me completely when using Classic Arcade on PC. I really wish they'd do some of the challenges with Pro setting.
So yesterday on Twitch I wanted to go for a wizard mode on MM or AFM, and I...
Same for me.
This is a case of where the Zen physics don’t quite work with a real world designed layout. We’ve seen it on other tables too, like on Fish Tales with the ball taking a weird hop challenge coming down the right side, but never to this extent where the quirk causes drains.
This is...
I wasn’t able to stand it on my iPhone 5s, but on the much larger screen of my 7 Plus, I quite enjoy it now (though still not even close to how much I prefer playing on my computer)
