It looks like they released another update which fixed most of the problems I mentioned. Space Shuttle now looks right. Centaur runs smooth and no longer crashes. Pinbot still has a few graphical issues, (flickering bumpers prior to starting the game and some black spots on the ramp that I don't...
Well the Centaur/Pinbot update seems to be a big step back as far as the Nook HD+ is concerned. The freezing while scrolling through tables is still there (has been since the new UI was implemented a few months back). The score board on Space Shuttle is now even worse. It's partially cut off and...
Device/OS: Nook HD+
Bug Description: Space Shuttle HUD covers U S A rollover lights completely on all but camera angle 3 in portrait.
Steps To Reproduce:Play Space Shuttle.
Frequency: 100%
Additional Comments: This may have something to do with the 1920x1280 resolution of this tablet...
I've run into a similar issue with the Android version, though I would describe it as the current ball getting stuck on top of the captive ball rather than behind it. It only happens occasionally but is annoying.
I just tried again and the price change appears to have finally gone through. I got ToM and RBION for half price (already had BH). Thanks for getting things worked out. HD still isn't free but I assume that's just because the Amazon version doesn't have a "table of the month."
In regard to...
Device/OS: Kindle Fire, Nook HD+
Bug Description: When you start the game it claims that BH, RBION, and ToM are on sale for half price. In the game the prices are listed as half their usual price but once you click buy Amazon wants to charge the full price. Also HD is said to be table of the...
I love this table on PHOF (Wii) but I find the TPA version far less enjoyable. As others have pointed out, the outlanes are just brutal on this version. It also seems like the bumpers don't react properly sometimes. The other thing I don't like is that this table has some great bass heavy sound...
I don't suppose this deal will also apply to the Amazon Appstore version will it? I already have Black Hole but would love to pick up Theatre of Magic and maybe even Ripley's for half price. I've really been wanting ToM. I originally did not like Ripley's but after playing the demo more, it has...
This sounds very similar to the issue I have on both my devices. I've nicknamed it "flipper flutter." If I'm holding the left flipper up and also try to use the right flipper, it will frequently flutter randomly. Sometimes both flippers start doing it. Rarely it will even happen when only one...
Thanks for the suggestion. The method I used to root the device was also supposed to completely disable automatic updates but apparently it didn't work (for me or anyone else that used it). I'm not sure when I'll try to root the device again as it left all the stuff I really care about intact...
While I do have a file manager app, my device de-rooted itself a while back and I haven't bothered to try rooting it again. I got Alogcat and managed to pull the app log which looked quite interesting. It looks like >95% of the lines in the app log reference audio issues. At this point I'm...
Where might I find the crashlog? I'm still a bit new to Android but if you point me in the right direction I may be able to find it.
I've played it a bit more and it just keeps crashing (I'd guess every 1-5 minutes). I've also noticed that this version seems to stutter way more than the old...
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I got the update and it's even worse than the original release. In addition to the sound issues and stuttering that the original release had, it now consistently crashes after a couple minutes of play. I gave up after the third crash. I wish there was a...
I have a 2nd generation Kindle Fire (regular, not HD) and I might be interested in beta testing but I'm still not completely clear on what it involves. Does it require a rooted device or do you just have to enable installation from unknown sources? Mine is not rooted and I don't plan to root...
I have to disagree with the comment that corporations can't be greedy. Corporations are run by people who experience emotions. I understand their purpose is to make money but I feel there's a difference between offering a good product for a reasonable price and offering the bare minimum people...
I just thought I'd chime in and agree with the quality over quantity crowd. I would rather have fewer bug-free tables than a bunch of buggy ones. I also want to say that I take a VERY dim view of companies that employ a release now, fix later (if at all) approach. I will quickly stop buying any...
You are correct. I would probably complain about the real table as well. Actually ST:TNG is one of the few tables I have played in real life though it was so long ago I don't remember anything other than being completely dazzled by it. Different people find different things enjoyable. Some...
