Absolutely! Accepting donations now.
It’s funny though, the dude that started the Pacific Pinball Museum started with 2 machines. He said he picked up a few more and ran out of space in the house. So he moved them to a location that he then opened to the public and called it a ‘museum’. Soon...
I keep coming back to this thought; I’ve driven 350 miles to visit the PHoF in Vegas and driven 90 minutes to visit the Museum of Pinball in Banning, CA, both being nothing more than pinball arcades. I’ve yet to drive 20 miles to visit the nearest bar/pinball venue. Make of that what you will.
I'm literally chatting with Mart, the community manager right now. I passed this along to him, dmil666
They don't look at this site hardly ever. He is asking if you can post it in the Steam forum too.
Added to that main list all the Bally 6803's, as I didn't remember those as being alphanumeric at first. Thanks to Citizen for even posting the list of those in the first place.
It's weird, the different eras of Bally. Seems almost like Gottlieb, in how the name sort of got acquired and passed...
I know you were referring to the physics, but they are exactly the same as if you selected Arcade instead. The only difference is the rake of the playfield, the outlane post adjustments, and certain scoring parameters.
I just had a go on MM, ToM, Party Zone, and Champ Pub with Tournament...
Yep, it's never going to be perfect but I had that same impression with all the Volume 1 and 2 tables when I got to play each of them at the Museum of Pinball. Even Junk Yard, who's angles off the flipper just didn't seem right, played near identical in real life. The TPA versions really screwed...
I wasn't aware of any changes to the physics. Tournament mode primarily adjusts the game settings in terms of scores needed and extra balls not being given. If the option of having outlane settings is present, those will be adjusted too, and it was mentioned table slope might also be tweaked...
Here's what I'd like to see first from the 'yet to be digitized' selections...
Fire!
Gameshow
Mousin' Around
Police Force
Radical!
Riverboat Gambler
Rollergames
For the ones we've already had, I'll take these first...
Bride of Pinbot
Diner
Dr Dude
Earthshaker
F-14 Tomcat
Funhouse
Whirlwind
Oh I doubt anyone would go through the hassle of trying to legalize Space Invaders, especially after having played it! Still, it’s a good bit of nostalgia.
In all honesty, I doubt Zen will tackle hardly any of these. A lot suffer the same problem most EMs do...nobody remembers them just by...
At the Museum of Pinball in Banning, CA they have a bunch of these oddball Bally machines. Though few really stick out (no doubt they cranked out a bunch of mediocre stuff), they do offer a nice alternative to the better known stuff, a sort of cleansing of the palette that lets you admire once...
I know I'd like to see:
Firepower
Blackout
Alien Poker
Joust
Sorcerer
Centaur
Eight Ball Deluxe
Fathom
Flash Gordon
Medussa
Mr & Mrs Pacman Pinball
Spectrum
Vector
Xenon
Party Animal
Strange Science
...and all the widebodies
Embryon
Future Spa
Hotdoggin'
Paragon
Space Invaders
Moved these lists over to this dedicated thread rather than hijacking the other. I'm very curious to know what people would want from here, especially since so many are rather obscure titles. One of the things I like about a lot of the Bally titles is they were getting rather experimental with...
