Almost never. If I want a regular game, I play FX3 on my PC. Interestingly enough, I rarely play the challenges in that version! I do a lot of tournaments instead.
I get it, there are those out there that only play using their mobile device. You want it priced and treated like any other system...
I've mentioned this in a few different threads and the podcast, but I'll reiterate it here...
Zen had a large customer base prior to Williams being added that only liked 'fantasy pinball' and found the idea of TPA boring. I saw many a post stating as much on their Facebook page when the WMS...
I swear I'm the lone voice around here that doesn't mind a grind model of playing. I get a thrill out of earning stuff without spending a dime!
Truthfully though, without the grind I don't open the app daily. I maxed all my tables, earned a healthy overflow of coins, and then stopped playing as...
Same problem here. I got in one session with White Water challenge eventually, but the next morning all my tables but AFM were showing they needed to download and none of the challenges would even load. Wrote a nice long Twitter post to Zen, I'm sure it'll be corrected soon.
Zen will get to alphanumeric tables soon according to Mel. Once you start getting to regular SS numeric machines, the ethos of Zen becomes distinctly difficult to add on. Their base customer prior to the Williams addition liked the game because of all the fantasy elements, but those become...
No mention of Rift in the Facebook announcement. If memory serves, AC/DC came out first for Oculus, then SPA, TPA, and finally Stern VR. But the license is expiring for all on the same date, June 30th.
Mel indeed said those words in the latest interview we did with him on our podcast. And I laughed. How could I not? At this point ‘pinball After Dark’ is nothing more than a joke to this forum. All that being said, this isn’t an indicator of Zen getting Stern, it’s that Oculus (who paid for the...
And yet a quick search on Amazon produces these shot glasses...
I know, you said nothing about drinking, just dive bars. But still, the Harry Potter brand gets slapped on everything, but pinball is where she draws a line in the sand? The Tolkein estate didn't take issue, and they are...
Indeed, and then add on top of that people who's only prior experience was from playing TPA.
I had the opportunity to play all the Vol 1-3 machines at the Museum of Pinball a few months back, and really felt Zen nailed it. If anything it was the imperfections on the real machines that were the...
Lemme see if I'm understanding this correctly...
For the Basic, Advanced, Pro, and Premium challenges, you are earning coins instead of parts still? That would sort of address the problem of "what happens when there are 20 tables" if they've limited the first 10 tables to this section.
You are...
I'm guessing you are referring strictly to the real table video in the first clip to the same in the 2nd? Because obviously since the second was done with a high speed camera for slo-mo, the effect is going to be more pronounced.
When we first got this in beta, the effect was indeed too...
Jared doesn't have a console at all (though he keeps threatening to get a Switch), while I have both the Switch and PS4. The problem for me is two-fold; I don't buy packs for either console and those tables I do have suffer a slight flipper lag on my TV. Trust me, I turn off all the post...
I'm gonna recommend a couple of courses of action for you to try, see if we can't nudge you in the right direction.
First, pick a table to concentrate on. For the purposes of this post, let's say Fish Tales. You are going to play Fish Tales for a week in Classic Single Player using only Arcade...
We were supposed to get a pack at the beginning of the year, but it’s since been postponed to sometime in 2020, as per Mel in our BlahCade podcast #175.
Remember the era of machine. Compared to my Eight Ball Deluxe, these flippers have all the ‘snap’ needed. Compared to a modern Stern? Those might be a bit tighter. Play an EM and holy crap talk about lazy.
