    DX11 Tips & Tricks

Lowering resolution i dx11 settings can have a good effect on performance. Menu's might look weird but actual table should look normal. Here's a vid for nvidia settings to improve performance.

    DX11 Public Beta Now Available

I don't know if by enthusiast you mean VP, FP and so on or Noex. But in case you missed it, at least cab view for TPA is possibly around the corner. http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/9804-PBA-Free-Camera-Mod?highlight=noex

    One refurbished table per month!

Usually it's some detail that gets improved, or some bug that's fixed, but absolutely not totally refurbished table. It can be a pop bumer light that's fixed, a ramp that gets a better transparent look or a maybe a bug in the initals entry for high score that gets fixed. But just because a table...

Do you use ALL nudge buttons?

Another reason to try to use more up nudging instead of side nudging, when possible, is that up nudging doesn't seem to cause tilts as easily as side nudging.

Do you use ALL nudge buttons?

LOL Maybe I'm nudging in vain :) No but it seriously helps, but I actually forgot it can bounce in the without nudging :o

    DX11 Public Beta Bugs

Check in Nvidia control panel that pinballarcadedx11.exe still under nvidia, I think the latest update might have popped it out, I don't know. I'm experiencing improvements with latest update. We are almost running the exact same specs.

Do you use ALL nudge buttons?

I'd say I have a success rate of 90% of saving right oulane balls and at least 60% of left outlane balls with up nudging on centaur.

Buying a new PC to run DirectX 11 TPA - What specs do I need?

I don't know what changed the menu and tables at table selection to crisp, but for performance I dropped everything to lowest in dx11 settings and resolution from 1920x1080 to 1360x768 and what they do in this video beneath, and closed all other programs running. HOWEVER the newest update that...

Is It Time For TPA 2?

1: I don't understand exactly what you mean. Abandoning all supported platforms and devices for a new one? Making an entirely new platform only playable on what platform? Abandoning all other devices, you're thinking? Like only focus on high-end PC gamer? I don't really understand what you mean...

Buying a new PC to run DirectX 11 TPA - What specs do I need?

Ok sorry I take some of that back. I was little quick to judge. I've managed to get everything looking crisp and clear like it's supposed to. (While running without any slowdowns of course).

BlahCade Podcast #17 - Big Nuts

Cause otherwise you'll miss out on a lot of interesting information and good laughs :) I'm very excited about the answer my question got! Didn't expect that! And by the way guys, yes you can say switch-three-flip, but actually you just say switch tre, and tre is pronounced like tray. So...

Do you use ALL nudge buttons?

Ah sorry forgot to mention that down nudging is since I also started playing PC, and there are no down nudges on mobile. However, side nudging probably works better for catching balls so far. Although down nudge looks pretty when you catch a ball it only works on really slow moving balls, like...

Do you use ALL nudge buttons?

For me I think I use roughly 0% diagonal nudging, 50% side nudging and 45% up nudging. 5% down nudging. I'm working on learning intuitive down nudging and this might increase, I use it for live catching ball, or just to dampen the ball when catching on flipper.

Something seems off with the main flipper angles

It's variable on different pins and Addams are supposed to be like that. For instance, Attack from Mars are pretty shallow too. Some are more extreme in the other way, especially the gottlieb pins, check out Cue Ball Wizard, that has very steep flipper angles.

Buying a new PC to run DirectX 11 TPA - What specs do I need?

Honestly I'm not impressed by dx11 and I'm hesitating if I'll even use it. We'll see how it turns out, but as it's a port right now everything but the lighting is worse. Sound is worse, graphics are not as crisp as regular tpa and lots of new bugs. Maybe it's only me I don't know. I got it...

Probably not the problem, seems pinballarcadedx11.exe not being automatically detected by graphic cards is the problem.

    Re-visiting every table

Since I had to reinstall TPA on droid and all my goals and scores were wiped, and haven't bothered with them on pc, I'm pretty much back to zero myself, albeit not by free choice.

Buying a new PC to run DirectX 11 TPA - What specs do I need?

https://support.serato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202305784-Changing-graphics-card-settings-to-use-your-dedicated-GPU-on-a-Windows-computer- Or something, I googled around to find how to do it. I found my nvidia in Control panel: hardware and sound.

    DX11 Public Beta Bugs

It doesn't look very realistic now. Can't be worse. And with all the arsenal of silly balls we already have, the option to have visible balls shouldn't be very problematic.

Did you check you graphic card settings if pinballarcade is even there? Wasn't for me.
