Ghostbusters is the deepest, most complex, table in TPA. Maybe not as complex as AC/DC.
Even if you slog through the 538(!) pages of rules in-game, you're still likely to remain a bit confused.
Let's start the conversation!

The skillshot is your friend, and if you do...
Spanish Eyes I recognized; its art style is very distinctive.
Wild Card looks pretty generic cowboy theme poker table, amiright?

The Stern SPIKE and SAM tables are running natively compiled executables/DLLs from Stern's own source code, so there's no actual "emulation" required: they're not emulating the MPU, they're running the code directly. So in that way, yes, they are "scripted", but not "scripted" in the same way...
Yeah there was some fun in the Twitch stream because someone mentioned the Pro version and the guys thought they meant TPA "Pro" version i.e. coin door etc., when was really meant was the Stern Ghostbusters Pro table which is the cheaper version of Premium and has a different layout, regular...
No, it's not, and if you watch the Twitch stream it's pretty much stated as such, that there are two confirmed SPA tables (besides GB) in the pipeline - Big Buck Hunter and Whoa Nellie! - plus "others they can't talk about".
We've all got used to TPA being updated every month, we forget that...
On Android - yes, I can confirm this.*
On Steam - presumably, but the SPA update with Ghostbusters isn't arriving today as far as I know, so unless someone has their hands on an SPA Steam beta with GB...?
* In Beta. Works for me just fine. YMMV once it's actually released.
There's definitely going to be cross-buy, it's already implemented (and working for me at least) for GB in the Android beta versions of TPA and SPA. So I don't see why that wouldn't happen for Steam and iOS.
Well, it looks like there are still going to be separate apps.
I just got notification of a new Android beta for Stern Pinball Arcade that includes Ghostbusters; and also a note that cross-purchasing should be enabled.
Since I've not purchased any packs for SPA (on Android or PC), this doesn't...
That's the good ol' fashioned rollover bug. If you rollover your score, make sure you don't run out of time (i.e. finish the game "normally" by draining ball 3) otherwise the rollover doesn't get credited.
It's in Android and Steam beta testing. This is confirmed in the latest BlahCade podcast (or the one before it - either way, it's talked about by both Chris and Jared).
Honestly I think "Doom" and "Survival" sounds like a great combo, even if it's not a decent match game- and tournament-type wise.
Also, I only own the Bethesda pack, so it limits what I can play in somewhat!!
I'm also skeptical about GB on mobile devices, whether it's through TPA or SPA. I'm also in the beta and I can echo Jared's concerns. I have a Samsung device (a Galaxy Tab S2) and while GB runs and is smooth, it's slow as molasses - about half speed - which makes it a little bit on the easy...
Well this isn't California, but we are next to a freight yard so we get some pretty big rumbles when them big freight trains start to move.
I remember one Christmas the village I grew up in had a flood (some poor old guy drowned), but it was only the houses built in the '70s that flooded, all...
In this case, it's easy to see how this might happen: Eight Ball Deluxe and Xenon both use the same MPU as Fathom, so they probably tweaked something in the emulation. I wonder, does Centaur (also same MPU) exhibit similar behavior?
