Here's one I'm almost embarassed to admit: Funhouse
When I first started playing pinball I really didn't like that table. I like most of the Lawlor's quite a bit, and I knew that was a popular favorite, but the table seemed very frustrating to me.
Turns out I just sucked.
Recently, my skill...
If this happens I will be very frustrated.
I would also not be surprised.
Edit: After reviewing the update the language certainly implies this is the case. Double duty with the Stern Pinball Arcade must be making life hard. Then again, this isn't a confirmation.
Doctor Who Classic Release...
Yes, the actual table art is MUCH better than the promo image art. I suspected those were the cell-shaded character models and not an illustration, glad I was right.
Excited for this one. Marvel ladies have gotten the shaft until now. Last Zen update was in April and the last Marvel table was...
Was hoping FS wasn't going to wait til the last minute again, especially since this is a KS table. I guess SPA is keeping them busy?
Next week we get the "Women of Power" Marvel/Zen Pinball two-pack, too. Christmas comes early for digital pinheads!
Are you referring to the Fountain Square Pinball Classic? That's not an expo, that's a 48-man tournament. There will be a good chunk of tables from private collections there.
Yes, I go to Main Street Amusements when I can.
It sucks that those games are gone but it was ultimately to make room...
I live in Indianapolis. It's a desert here. Closest pinshow is the Pinball Expo in Chicago in October. I was thinking of going, anway.
@JeffStrong
For $300 the theme isn't that big a deal. It certainly looks like a quirky game. My goal is to get it working better and trade up. Maybe even put...
I'm looking to get my first game and I don't have a ton of experience with a lot of early SS and EMs.
These are some games I've played that I really liked, despite their relative simplicity:
Strikes n Spares
Mata Hari
Cleopatra
Star Trek
Bobby Orr's Power Play
Captain Fantastic
Big Shot
Flash...
I rarely play this table. I'm on iOS. When the ball is not visible the shadow is overlayed on the playfield and objects and follows the ball's hidden movement.
Iron Man isn't bad, I wouldn't mind it
Spider-Man Vault Ed. is awesome, a new favorite since the place I frequent got one.
Agree about Tron, I've never seen what was so great about it. Doesn't get me goin'.
Galaxy Note 5
Yes, I play like that. I went ahead and bought AC/DC and it's... Okay. They absolutely shouldn't be charging $10 on Gear VR because the performance is not there. Ball lags randomly, getting bad frame rate drops regularly enough to be annoying. Multiball is underwater on every...
This is the mobile version, not PC. And it's mobile VR, it's gonna look pretty weak.
I will say that the ball physics in SPA feel slightly improved. Maybe it's in my head.
This was my dream theme. I've been thinking of my own ideas for a Batman 66 table for a couple years now.
Obvious features:
Light-up red phone over mission scoop
Lower Batcave miniplayfield ala Black Hole
Jet Bumpers with "Pow!" "Zap!" "Bam!" on the caps
"Shoot lit shots to get rid of bomb"...
Still says Ver 1.0, released 5/27/16.
Have they actually pushed an update? Because there isn't one available to me.
Regardless, I'm not paying $10 for a new table if they haven't fixed Star Trek or optimized the others. But why fix existing tables when you already got the money and could...
I will fight anyone who dislikes Judge Dredd IRL.
I also like Cyclone/Hurricane, even if they are rather tepid designs. But Judge Dredd is top-to-bottom a badass table. I think the TPA version is fine...
