Freddy isn't that great, IMO, but FS apparently loves mediocre Gottlieb Premieres. I'm getting pretty sick of them after R911, TX and Big Hurt. Bleh.
Would like to see Tales From The Crypt if for no other reason than to add another DE table to the line-up.
I don't know that that really means anything. But I do hope we get the game, it's a favorite.
We're pretty sure Banzai Run is coming this season? Did I miss a clue or leak?
Please, god, not another Premiere...
I already have SPA for GearVR so I assumed Logan was referring to the other versions. I could see the physics being an issues for GearVR due to the VR overhead but not for the other versions, or even the PC VR version.
Maybe Stern is in control of when the next platform is released, but I have...
Awww, I love Whitewater :(
I can't disagree enough about Tee'd Off vs NGG. NGG is just on another level and one of my favorite tables in TPA and IRL. I'll give you that the voices are annoying in both, but outside of the theme I think they are vastly different tables.
The superhero tables I've played have all been pretty mediocre. I've played all three Batman games (DE, Sega and Stern) and wasn't that impressed. Avengers is terrible. Iron Man is fun but nothing special. Actually, Spider-Man is a solid game.
I'm sure we'll see Batman, Iron Man or Spider-Man...
I should not have made this thread, lol.
I don't understand how anyone can put these tables on their list:
Red and Ted Road Show
Earthshaker
Star Trek TNG
Cirqus Voltair
Judge Dredd
Funhouse
All of thise tables are truly excellent all-around, IMO. They're also about as good as you could hope...
Goin Nuts is *excluded* because no one likes that game (but feel free to correct me!)
Class of 1812
Lights Camera ACTION
Tee'd Off
TX Sector
Cue Ball Wizard
Huh, that's funny... all these tables say "Premiere" on them!
The jury is still out on Big Hurt. If I had a sixth spot I'd...
Well, like most tables, HS is far easier in TPA than IRL. And The Getaway is a better version of the same game. But HS deserved to be in TPA, just like Banazai does, for the reasons I put forth earlier in the thread: TPA is a virtual museum.
I mean, if R911, TX and Big Hurt are in...
On iOS the older games have very tiny score displays. This is annoying, but it doesn't affect gameplay.
What DOES affect gameplay is the super-tiny "special" buttons. Games with magna-saves and similar buttons are gimped by this. Starship Troopers is straight-up nigh-unplayable. You can't hit...
This is a regular feature of Lawlor tables, but for some reason I have much more trouble with Monopoly's Jackpot than I do with TAF, Funhouse, R&TRS, Earthshaker, Whirlwind, etc.
With TAF you have two jackpots off of that shot. With Earthshaker the ball is probably going to loop around.
Zen Pinball borrows a lot of ideas and features from real tables.
One of their older tables, Paranormal, took the backglass playfield concept from Banzai Run. I feel like the physics are pretty close and I'm curious to see if Farsight can replicate it in their own engine. It's just a matter of...
A lot of games have tons of jackpot shots when you start multiball, but some games have very specific shots that are difficult to consistently get while trying to keep the balls alive. What are some tables you have a lot of trouble with? Real pinball or TPA.
For me, Monopoly is very hard to...
Bonzai Run isn't one of my favorites either, but you gotta admit it's a really interesting table. I think it absolutely deserves inclusion for the unique backglass playfield. TPA is supposed to be a museum of pinball. IMO, museums should house the best of the best, of course, but also landmark...
