95.5 points for 40 mil on totan is a bit easy.
And just an idea, maybe end of game replay award could give an extra credit? At least there finally will be some way to make use of end of game random replay.
One thing I like about TPA is actually the minor bugs and drains. In reality every machine is a little different and has its quirks that you have to learn. Some flippers are weak, some kickouts behave strangely and so on and so on. Pinball machines are vintage and used and none are perfect. This...
I got this on android a couple times, turns out it was my router that was having micropauses and it caused some hickups in wifi connection with phone which caused micro hickups in touchscreen sensitivity.
My parents used to own a restaurant/diner when I was young (80's) and they always had a pinball machine there which would be changed to a different one every couple of months. I used to go there after school and play.
I remember one time I was playing and this man walks up to me and asks me if...
For me it's different views for different tables. Mostly I use portrait, but sometimes landscape. And with landscape I also use the closest view, nothing else. If the playfield is mainly bottom half of table, landscape can be better. Aiming can be improved for some angles but overall view is...
Happy new year guys!
Haven't had much time to test the challenge mode but completed the Williams challenge. No unreported bug occured. But only 19.4 points for 26 billion on Star Trek? That's tough.
If you want a game to last forever, cradle a ball on the flipper and hold it for as long as you wish ;) no but seriously, it's a game of strategy and calculated risks. Avoid risky shots and catch and hold the ball as much as you can. Not even the best pros would play more than a couple of...
I don't think there is a possible shot straight to lock without nudging. Not on plunge, anyway. I've hit it mid-play without nudging, but the ball came slower through the loop and bounced out from the left side a little bit by itself so I hit the ball further out on the flipper than after plunge.
The difference is that in TPA, in many situations the ball behaves EXACTLY the same every time over and over, and the exact replication of situations and the limitation of possibilities through frames/sec makes hard shots much easier to learn because it takes away a whole lot of variables that...
If you nudge the table to the left when the ball just passes the spinner, the ball will change it's trajectory slightly and you will hit the ball further out on the flipper and if timed correctly you can shoot the ball straight to lock.
But if you nudge too late the ball will drain down the middle.
I don't think you should paint it, it looks beautiful and is a wonderful piece of history! Maybe google around for art or antiques or furniture restoration and seal it and make it shine and maybe enhance it with some good lighting.
Ok, a new bug. I just had a hard volley backhand shot from the right flipper shoot the ball through the lock and the ball came back down the right loop.
