You don't need anywhere 6 hours for this strategy to benefit you. I think my #9 1B game was very short, maybe even under one hour. I'm not sure if you need any amount of hours at all... I think it gives a substantial benefit even with only, say, 3X bonus. It does take some practice to learn...
I just voted! I'd vote a hundred times if I could. I've never played or I think even seen a Zacc, and I've heard great things about your work, so I really hope this makes it!
If they really worked on it, they'd have to raise the kickstarter amount.
The consensus here seems to be that Farsight is doing a horrible job with this kickstarter. I'm not convinced of that. Their prior three all succeeded, and this one seems to be doing okay (I haven't compared progress...
Let's hope so. This Skittles thing is a travesty. They just destroyed* three Flashes! Why can't these modders choose crap tables to mod instead of the all-time, historically important classics? And you kids, kindly get off of my lawn, OK?
* The Tommy movie is one of my all-time favorites...
There aren't any. I favor only original themes for new pinball games. There has been a severe shortage of these for about fifteen years now (give or take Pro Pinball). If we have a fifteen-year period with 90% of new pinball games being original themes, then I'll support new licensed tables. :)
I don't think you need to go anywhere remotely near 40-50 to beat out SJ's. I actually think somewhere around 3 in a row (consistently) beats SJ. Of course this depends on the amount of time it takes you to start multiball, and then get a SJ, and the fraction of times you do get a SJ in...
Certainly, but that's only half of the equation. The other half is sales potential, and I'm sure that BW100 would sell many less copies than NF. Just being non-DMD is enough to say that. BW100 is also pretty obscure, and while NF is somewhat obscure, I don't think it is as much.
I think I've...
This is the least interesting tourney yet due to only four tables, and three of them having appeared in recent tourneys. I hope its length doesn't preclude the usual monthly tourney, but I seriously doubt that Farsight has the ability to run concurrent tourneys. I hope I'm wrong...
Please vote in my poll then... I'm feeling very alone. :)

I almost did, but decided since they are so different, neutral didn't make much sense. I dunno. I guess I'm neutral on whether I should have included a "neutral" option. :)
relaxation has a video of the new GUI public beta:
Here is the thread for GUI public beta discussion:

I watched relaxation's video, and I have to say that I pray this never sees the light of day. Good Lord this is awful, so much worse than the current UI. It's essentially what I'd expect to see from a middle school computer class whose assignment was to duplicate the TPA UI. If this thing...
