So just based on this information, if someone were to start the app today, here's the kind of crazy numbers they'd be up against...
With 10 tables available, there are 1700 parts in total needed. 700 just to get all tables to 3 star level so that you can play Pro challenge. The remaining 1000...
Sounds to me like League Play is just a waste of tickets. Climbing the ranks is gonna take what, at least 5 wins per level? Even more as you get higher (like it is on PC matchups), so unless the payout is either a large drop of coins, say more than 10, and a huge payout in tickets, like all your...
Thanks for that info nugget.
I can't recall if it was during the iOS beta or that first week of the app going live where the challenges were grayed out if you didn't have the table upgraded. And unfortunately, I can't use any of my own experience with starting the app fresh since Zen was still...
I already posted this in my data collection thread, but there's more of you here!
I'm thinking of writing up a massive guide for posting on the BlahCade site as well as sending to This Week In Pinball about all I'm finding out with this app. I need some help though, as there is info I don't...
1 star is 5 parts/150 tickets, and it sounds like you are confirming you need at least that to play in Basic, right Wilbers? And you're saying you had MM as the Basic daily challenge every day until you unlocked FT, and then it rotated between the two of them? That's at least better than what I...
I'm thinking of writing up a massive guide for posting on the BlahCade site as well as sending to This Week In Pinball about all I'm finding out with this app. I need some help though, as there is info I don't remember. I mainly need to know...
- When first downloading the app, what are the...
The flippers in 'zen' mode have the same angle as what is used in TPA (yes I did screen shots and compared when first released)
But if you play in 'Arcade' mode or on mobile 'Pro physics', the flipper bats have a shallower angle that matches what you'd typically find in an arcade machine. And...
There was Alvin G Soccer, a table FarSight had planned on putting in TPA but since they never figured out the whole Head 2 Head online thing, I think the idea got scrapped. There's also the Williams Joust table, which I think based on what you do on your side of the playfield affects what...
It's one of those games that when you start it, you kinda wonder if you're really gonna play much of it. And then you look at your watch and see you've been at it for 2 hours. And then you start discovering all the hidden collectible stuff, and secret passageways. Finally you realize you're...
At minimum I’m viewing 12 ads per day, and that’s only if I clear those advanced challenges on first attempt (rarely happens) and doesn’t include premium challenge. That puts me at 192 minimum views in just these past 16 days I’ve been tracking. I know it’s a hell of a lot more than that though...
No, I haven’t flipped a single one yet. Once I’m all maxed, I’ll flip them for a day and see. When I did it during the original go for the 1st seven, I seem to recall it just giving more parts. Unless it’s giving coins, not worth it since it’ll cost 12 coins per day to flip them all, but I’m...
You need 750 coins to purchase 3 tables outright. So yeah, $20 and you'll have 50 coins left over.
I agree this is not good for someone just getting into the app, and completely agree that it only gets worse as more tables are added.
I do not agree that people just want to play pinball...
Here's the summary after playing the app for 14 days
Level 31 (+8)
Tickets 8780
Coins 53
Theatre of Magic: Fully upgraded (as of day 14)
Champion Pub: 77/100 parts
Safe Cracker: 86/100 parts
I only needed 2 more parts for ToM to start day 14, and I got them on the card flip of Basic 10 star...
Did anybody have the Vextrex?
Do gotta say those vector graphics arcade games never translated to the home TV since they didn't have that screen burn intensity.
You're close enough to me that the shipping cost could be waved by having local pickup. Just sayin'.
If you are using L1/R1 to flip, it should be L2/R2. You might first have to go into control setup though and separate the two because sometimes the game auto sets to use any of those buttons for...
22" wide across the front, 8" deep front to back, 17" tall for the box itself, but standing on legs it is 37" tall. Plunger, launch button, two flipper buttons with real leaf springs and a 3rd button for activating Zen wizard bonuses, rumble motors, accelerometer for nudging (the one thing I...
