So I finally decided to see what would happen if I tried to install VP on my PC. After more than a few hiccups,I actually got it to work. It's not perfect by any means, but I'm loving what I can do with it.
I do have a question if someone would be willing to help with - Does anyone here know how...
Well,if you are going by lists - in Pinside's Top 50 pins,by my count - these are the ones that shouldn't have licensing issues:
Fish Tales
Earthshaker
Xenon
These have,as an educated guess - minor licensing issues:
The Getaway: High Speed 2
Road Show
Judge Dredd
Everything else in the...
I'll say this right off - I haven't played pinball in cabinet mode on a PC. But I think, and I also think that most people who,if they have the proper equipment.would play TPA in that mode. It's part of the reason why I've learned to love TPA on my iPad. Like others have said,it has more of a...
Rosa Shelton (is/was?) an employee at Farsight Studios. She was handling some of the customer service stuff and she seemed to get FS going in the proper direction in regards to the TPA fan base. If she is gone, then FS has lost an asset.
The person she mentions in the KS update,Mike Lindsey -...
Okay - been busy today - so like I posted earlier,I'll go into details in the Real Pinball section of the forum...
But today I finally got my T2 unlocked today,so I've been playing that. What I played this weekend, though:
(This is between the Pinball Wizard Arcade, the Half-Moon arcades...
Count me in with "the bigger is better" crowd. You should be able to get a 42" tv with no problems in regards to your viewing space.
I have a Panasonic plasma and I love it! It's a great all around TV. I would check out the Panasonics and also the Samsung TV's that fall within your budget...
Thanks to everyone for the responses. I appreciate them.
I know so little about my inner PC workings that I had to look up what a PSU meant...
Anyways, I have had one or two of my friends talk to me about building a PC - like I said before - I never really gave it much thought until now. I'll...
Boy do I feel like an idiot. I had done that three times before...read your post, and I didn't remember I still had FB access function on my iOS settings. Went there, and of course - there is my answer.
"face palm"
Anyways,thanks netizen!
Okay...
I've finally decided to figure out exactly what I need to do in order to get TPA up and running on my PC. I have avoided for years having anything to do with PC gaming because I didn't want to deal with the seemingly constant upgrading/tweaking needed to make PC gaming viable for me. So...
Well, there is obviously an issue somewhere because there is still no information as to what is going on with TPA on the 360. For all we know,FS could have been right with the 360 self-publishing talk, but MS penalized them for disclosing that fact before they were ready/wanted to do so.
It's all...
Well,I have been saving almost $30 in MS points just to add TPA tables. At this point,I am all done with the Xbox 360 in regards to TPA. Unless they are able to resolve the TPA 360 issue AND I find out there will be no Xbox One release. If I have to choose between the next-gen systems, the X1 has...
I did look this up on the forum, and I've tried deleting & reinstalling both apps with no success.
Specifically, what is happening is when I login to TPA on my iPad, the TPA app asks if I want to compare your scores with your Facebook friends. If I click yes,I get this message for a brief moment...
I just got back home from a long getaway trip into NH. I played with a lot of machines, and it was an...experience. Enough for me to post about it,so look for that post soon in the Real Pinball area of the forum. When the post is up - I'll edit this post & put a link in here.
I've never played Checkpoint,so I won't point out its pluses or minuses, since I don't know them. But on IPDB CPt is supposedly the first DMD on a pin table ever. So it deserves points/kudos for that.
In the end,my opinion on the Stern/DE/Sega post is the same as the Gottlieb's one. While I did...
What memories I have are from playing the original HS. And so I've posted back in the poll as such. Having said that...
I just had the chance to play The Getaway last night while on my mini vacation here in NH. I don't think I've played it before, and I had a LOT of fun with it. That...
Still no dice for me - I'm one of those mentioned above. I'm also not in the T2 backing credits, but I'm sure that can be fixed in due time. Still - I'm glad that Farsight is making a concentrated effort to get all the KS people taken care of.
I'll be okay - spending the weekend in the classic...
