The 1989 Patrick Swayze movie "Next Of Kin" is showing today on AMC. At one point Liam Neeson shoots up a vending place with some mob guys in it. The pins you can see include Black Hole and Kiss. Also, a Galaxy & a Gorgar get trashed by shotgun fire. You see a camera shot of balls rolling around...
If you are re theming tables, making it a pin that doesn't exist in the real world...then it doesn't belong in TPA,IMO. For better or worse, the theme of a pinball table is part of the charm about it.
Besides,I would think it would take way too much time and effort to rework any later tables that...
Well, you could speculate that possibly a couple of the leftover tables left in Season 2 will be of the "lesser" licensed variety.
Regardless - I like surprises,so I'm hoping for two or three tables that haven't been hinted at yet...
Exactly. I'm having fun with TPA for what it is. It won't ever replace playing on a real table, but it is the closest that you can legally get on a video platform.
Exactly!!!
I can still get enjoyment out of playing games on my older home systems. Playing Zelda:OOT doesn't make the original Legend Of Zelda any less enjoyable. I can't see why we can't enjoy more than one pinball game.
I think TPA is incredible. It's a game that allows me to play the...
I have come to the hard decision of selling off part of my classic gaming collection. So today I started testing my Atari 2600/7800 collection and one of the first titles I came across was the 2600 "classic" Midnight Magic.
For an early video pinball,it wasn't too bad - definitely an upgrade...
You know what? The PS3 people at least have tables to play. The 360 users have next to nothing, along with most of the PS3 complaints on what few tables that they might have.
I want the bugs in TPA fixed just as much as the next person. Yeah, the console people have gotten the short end of the...
Twister is an awesome film! Great visual effects, decent acting - and a bit of trivia:
The comedic foil in Twister, assistant storm hound "Dusty" Davis - is played by none other than Academy Award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The pin is okay, but I'd rather have others before it...
Exactly. There are many companies that don't do this,or if they do...then it's a rare thing. There are at least 4 FS employees that either post here or give information here on TPA. That is a good thing.
While I understand that the game has bugs, the fact remains that FS has worked on TPA tables...
I remember that my first wife wasn't into gaming that much (mid 90') so when we got divorced I ended up buying myself a PSOne,a Saturn, & a Nintendo 64...so I do understand where you Re coming from.
So sorry about the breakup, but I'm sure you'll enjoy your new table :)
I wouldn't mind playing JM again. I just hope WOZ is working this Sunday.
And Banzai Run.
And The Shadow.
And Road Show.
And the TPA pins I haven't played physically.
Guess I want a lot,huh?
Off topic, both the "teen stars" of the film will be at the local comic-com this November (Ilan Mitchell-Smith & Anthony Michael Hall).
Hope to interview them for my show...
