This can happen on pretty much any table with gated plunger lanes where they don't want it to get stuck. Black Hole is the most common. I'm almost certain it's on purpose and doesn't actually affect gameplay because of the positions it happens in.
These are not .pdf and they're just rulesheets made by players but they may be of some use anyway depending on what you wanted it for. http://pinball.org/rules/
Not sure what you've been playing really but probably about half of the games I've bought in recent years, and many of them AAA titles, have some sort of graphics setup utility outside the game. Most of them do also allow you to change settings ingame.
Some of the points you made are valid, but I'd like to note that Farsight didn't lie to anyone. They've stated multiple times that the tables are adjusted to be somewhat easier than real tables to prevent player frustration, and yes to sell more tables. Personally I'd also like if the tables...
Oh dear, there's an incredible amount of anger in this thread. There may have been some miscommunications, but going into insane rage rants is honestly pretty embarassing. Can't we all just have a good hug and be glad the PC version is close to release instead of baying for blood?
I'm so excited for the PC version. So excited. I've been giving the poor old PS3 a break so I don't get burnt out on pinball before the version I actually want to play is released. Really nice to see it's coming along swimmingly. Thanks for the updates in the thread, Mike.
There's a free program called X360CE which makes PC programs think your gamepad is an xbox360 controller. I haven't run into a program yet that it didn't work with using my logitech pad. You might want to look into using that with PFX and TPA too eventually if it doesn't work otherwise. I'm not...
I'm a bit sad about the situation too. It's been a fairly long time now since the bug surfaced. I have barely touched TPA since the tournament since I can't see any friend scores. I think I'm probably going to just forget about PS3 and wait for the PC version to be released, since at least they...
Correct me if I'm wrong but if they're just messaging you codes to activate the balls can't you just input the code to whatever name you actually use instead of where they're sent. Unless it's in the wrong region?
I don't think they're the same. At least in finland both asus and benq are sold separately. They might still use the same component manufacturers I suppose if that makes a difference. I haven't looked into it.
I'm going to go ahead and pipe up that I don't see any lag in either mode either. I use it on the same monitor I use for the PC, a BenQ. I don't remember the model. If there's lag present in either 1080p or 720p I don't see it. I could just be used to it I suppose, but I figured I'd come out and...
I checked this today and my friends leaderboard only has my own scores in the #1 spot. No one else is listed on the friends list at all. I was in the tournament if that helps. Kind of weird, seems that there are a lot of different ways it's broken.
I don't really mind having the same prize as the 100th honestly. It was to be expected and I played for fun anyway, not for the prizes. The PC version will very likely be out by the time they sort out the sony rewards anyway and I'll be very unlikely to ever play it on PSN again after that.
I don't know about the first iOS tournament, but if you were in the last one that ended this week I'd just wait. They said they'd announce the prizes or whatever this week. Probably won't get any help before then.
I don't wholly disagree, but I do have to point out that the majority of the time spent at least for me was before the tournament, learning the tables and the shots. Most tables don't have a major luck component to them at all. Big Shot is personally for me the only table I can say I spent a lot...
