Yes that is correct, input lag has nothing to do with the TV side of things, it relates to the console, controller, game or all of them!, if a TV has a bad response time to boot it can create some terrible results! :(
This youtube video is a good example of it, it uses SSF IV on the 360 and PS3...
This is a tough choice at the moment, but i vote 360.
The PS3 version looks a fair bit nicer atm, but on the other hand the 360 version as it doesnt have the input lag that the PS3 version does. Due to the input lag of the PS3 version im sticking with the 360 version even if it doesnt look as...
Unless you have BOTH the 360 and PS3 version then i dont think you can make a decision as to weather the PS3 version has input lag! Some people are more preceptive to input lag than others, and im telling you the PS3 version DOES have input lag, i bought my LCD TV because of its 6-8 m/s response...
I think it is very ambitious of FS to state from the start that they will be releasing 2 new tables every month!....i just think its not possible to consistantly put 2 tables out every month, with soo many platforms they are releasing on i think they have bitten of more than they can chew in...
Well glad you guys are experiencing the same input lag i am on the PS3 version...i thought it migh have just been me. I also own the 360 version, so spotted the lag straight away. Hopefully FS can sort this out.
FS arent having much luck at the moment are they, not one of their platfrom...
Nice info mike. Would be great if there was a technique where you could get the flashers on tables to have a really bright intense flash when they go off, more like a real flasher. so all objects around these flashers would have light mappings on them to and would be effected by the flashers...
Is a pain seeing as i have £25 sitting on my UK PSN account, and now ill need to dish out $10 for my US PSN account. How much is TPA on the PSN store then?...$10???
Can we download a trail before buying??....if so ill see how much different it is form the 360 version and then make a descision
Damn, it would just be nice to be kept in the loop wouldnt it!?, by either posting on their facebook page, or here's any idea one of the farsight members on this very forum starting a thread letting us know whats happening and why. Is that really too much to ask??
Really!! You are kidding me! Where is FarSight offical announcment on this?. Havent seen anything on their facebook page!, What reason have they given??
Jeff that stop happen back at the start of page 2 of this thread...hence why i havent replied since lol.
Thanks for dropping by UW...i knew it was like a red rag to a bull starting this thread but i wanted to express my opinions on The Pinball Arcade. If truth be told i had your tables in mind...
Im not a troll!. I wasnt even the one that noticed this BOP Playfield anomaly, i was just commenting on what i read on a few other pinball releated forums, and the whole point of this thread was to ask if this was so from Android owners.....i wasnt claiming anything, if you even took the time to...
Please dont misunderstand on what im saying, TPA wipes the floor with VP and FP on the physics, how the tables play and the real life authentic look, its the whole resolution of the textures that FS have used on the 4 release tables that im questioning, that and only that does FP have the upper...
Am i right in say that a single PS3 can output to 2 displays? Must admit though this sort of thing may only be feasible for a PC. Im fortunate enough to have built a PinCab myself so i would welcome a 2 or 3 screen option for the PC version. Heres a vid of my cab playing Tales From The Crypt...
Yeah theres no doubt about it TPA tables look more realistic and authentic, but the texture resolution on the game could be higher, id go as far to say its below 720p! Hopefully the 2 DLC tables and future DLC will be of higher quality. As ive said before things can only get better!
