I read an interesting statistic, one I didn't bother noting the exact details of but I can give you the broad strokes at least, in that most illegal immigrants come via airplane and not boarder hopping. Now when I say most, I'm talking well over 60% if not more according to what was written...
Those of us that play and create custom tournaments in Zen's FX3 have wishes for settings we'd like added. Let's throw down some ideas, pros and cons, and then I'll compile a nice list I can present to Zen. Here's some that come to mind...
1. Last score earned is your tournament score - You've...
What we could do is collect a bunch of such ideas as then present them to Mel. They’ve already added things to tourney, so we know it’s not set in stone.
That’s not a terrible suggestion Newt. I would love for Zen to allow us all sort of tourney customization. Imagine if we could set up a bracket system! I too have had times where I’ve wondered how many attempts another player has left, if for no other reason than to know if it’s worth my effort...
Sorry, but the scores for Return of the Jedi are completely eluding me. This is what happens when 2 weeks of holiday completely dominate your normal routine.
Speaking of normal routine, let's get back to playing weekly! Continuing with the Star Wars movie tables, this week it's The Force...
I wouldn't necessarily call it 'enjoy', but you are correct. It is now treated like an episode of a reality show only nobody is getting voted off, which is the rude awakening to those in the voting public.
Nice find! Get's me excited for next week when I go to Banning for It Never Drains In SoCal with over 500 pins to play. Can't wait for PHOF to build and move into it's new location on The Strip in a year or two.
That's fantastic to hear. In the limited time I had playing with the Arcooda / Kinect software, I thought it really improved quite a few tables for visual understanding. Black Hole was the true standout for me.
And no, it's currently not in fashion to like anything TPA, but that's simply...
You’re not thinking big enough. Imagine what they could do with Metallica, Game of Thrones, Batman ‘66. We already know what they can do with Deadpool, GotG, and Star Wars on their own, but with video display? Yep, sweet!
So no, you’re not speaking out of turn, nor are you being greedy for...
Thanks Jeff! Between seeing Jared getting his machine up and running and realizing after the Micro Cab I have zero patience for painting, I’m now inspired to leave Firepower battle scarred and push forward with putting down final clear coat and then reassemble. Or at least that’s my new year’s...
That’s the logical assumption without having the benefit of a full year to compare against. We have no idea what will happen with licensed releases, no idea what happens when all the kinks are ironed out with the Williams stuff (mobile is being worked on, physics are still being tweaked, user...
I was surprised Volume 2 came as quick as it did. Zen has typically put out 12-14 tables a year, usually over the course of 4 releases. Use that as your baseline for what to expect.
There are going to be some original tables released in the first part of the year, which I’m guessing to be February. I don’t know if that takes up a Williams spot, but if it does then I’d guess Volume 3 for April or May.
The 'fun factor' is indeed there. If you never touched another digital pinball game after, you'd probably keep the smiles. I played and loved the ever loving crap out of Gran Turismo 2, but lordy when you play a modern racer and then try to go back, yeech. It's not that the old game is terrible...
I don’t think he understands 90% of what the job entails. I think he is operating under the idea this is a last man standing reality show with a prize at the end, and it doesn’t matter how you get there so long as you win.
