The table slope was increased during beta testing. I find it plays pretty close to the real thing. As for the gameplay, that's personal preference so I won't comment.

That's a ROM bug, it happens if the ball somehow comes out of one of the lock holes before it's supposed to. To fix it, exit the table and go back in.
