I think everyone's tastes are so different that you'll hear a lot of answers on what get. It's probably easier to agree on what NOT to get. I do recommend getting the pass for two reasons: 1) You'll save $20 if you plan on getting them all in the end and 2) you really never know what YOU'LL...
If anyone has an idea of the timetable for updating older tables on iOS, I sure would like to know. It's hard to go to my iPad after playing on PC, yet only my iPad has all of the tables purchased.
If they say anything please reply to this thread with any updates. Hopefully it won't take as...
Ugh. So nothing for iOS until like 2016, I'm guessing. I did just test Big Shot on iPad and it's definitely not the 3.0 version :-(
So is there someone who can explain why the update couldn't be rolled out to all platforms around the same time? It's the same engine, right? I'd also like to know...
Just going by my own experiments, it seems mobile does have the 3.0 physics on all tables released after Xenon. You can tell by rapidly pressing the flipper. If it's 3.0 it won't go down all the way, allowing for a weak flip. Still, I want to be sure that I don't get confused by placebo effects...
I was looking at that last night. Problem is that it would be pinball-only for me and it's gigantic. That has to be the most illogical button layout I've seen, why would you put those two buttons where your palm is going to be? Also... Not sure i need a 6th arcade stick, heh...
Sigh. Well guys, looks like I'll also be making the switch to PC soon. As per my other thread, just found out that while PC has 3.0 physics on all tables, iPad only has them implemented on Xenon and beyond, with a handful of older tables. I'm committed, though. I actually found a really good...
Good to know. Is the plan to add 3.0 to all tables on all platforms? Going from PC to ipad really throws me off. I own all my tables on iPad too, I don't want to have to rebuy them on PC for the "true" experience, and I prefer playing in portrait mode, which is not easy for me with my TV...
I know that all tables Xenon and after have the 3.0 physics, but what about older tables? Are the 3.0 physics implemented equally across all platforms? I mainly play on iPad, sometimes PC or PS4 (if im lazy).
Also, is there a plan to overhaul tables like Creature and Scared Stiff? Great tables...
These are two of mine as well, especially Dredd. I had a blast playing it at Logan's in Chicago and the optional multiball starter is a fun gimmick. World Cup Soccer is another great table with a well implemented theme, but I think it gets kind of worn out after awhile. Those other titles are...
You all have reminded me about the other big negative about playing on iPad - No season passes! You can buy bundles of completed seasons but you can't buy a pass for the current season. I buy every table because I live in Indianapolis and there's only a handful of tables spread through the...
Hey everyone! I'm new to the forums, thought I'd see what people enjoy playing on the most.
I own tables on PS3, PS4, Vita, Windows Laptop and iPad Air 2. PS3 and Vita were my first. I never use them anymore now that I have tables on the other 3. PS4 exlusively had the awesome lighting until PC...
