Specific to PS3/PS4 version and PSN, but it is possible to show which table a friend is currently playing on?
Some games on PS3/PS4 display the level or the mode played with the game's name. I don't know if it requires a lot of work to implement.
Right.
The PS3 version graphics are pretty solid since the release of the Super Patch. FS did an awesome job on most of the tables. And the PS3 version is the only one to have the special lighting FX on the ball itself. :)
Like you say, what's wrong with the PS3 version is that the patching...
Wonderful list! Everything's there! Thanks to have tracked all the suggestions made in the forum!:)
I would add only one thing: "High Scores and Instructions accessible while playing in game." :p
The tournament will last for one entire month. So I guess a lot of players will join the last week (particularly the "insanely good" players).
Gold Tier: about 70 players
Silver Tier: about 250 players
Bronze Tier: I don't know. :p
I think it's not too difficult to move up to the Gold rank...
New tournament from 09/13/2014 21h58GMT to 10/10/2014 21h58GMT
3 tables:
- Twilight Zone
- Star Trek : The Next Generation
- Terminator 2 : Judgment Day
20mn time limit as usual.
Good luck!
I used this useful trick to get the Crossover Bonus (http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/2126-Nailing-the-elusive-Crossover-Bonus-%28and-other-strategy-discussions-for-Taxi%29), it took me only 2 or 3 attempts to succeed.
I don't know if someone use this (me yes :p), but Season 3 scorecard is ready.

Here's the blank PDF for all the seasons: link in the first post.

There's a difference for:
- Champion Pub
PinballArcadePlayers says 2.3B (http://www.pinballarcadeplayers.com/content/champion-pub) and DanBradford has calculated 1.5B.
- Tee'd Off
PinballArcadePlayers says 17B (http://www.pinballarcadeplayers.com/content/teed) and DanBradford has calculated...
Oh you're right!! My mistake, it's 90M regarding your scores (I copied an error from pinballarcadeplayers.com > http://www.pinballarcadeplayers.com/content/victory . It lists 400M for Victory...).
For the 2nd season, DanBradford has calculated it too...
Are you sure for Victory? What are your highscore and your HOF points?
Looking at the leaderboards,, 5 guys have broken the 300M threshold. And only 1 guy reached more than 400M. Would they put some insane highscores if the HOF score was only 90M?
HOF points are available only on mobile devices. It has been asked FS several times to implement it on PC and consoles, but it never happened (maybe with the incoming new UI? I hope so).
And I never understood why this is not on all versions (it wouldn't require a lot of work to implement...
Isn't it 42 billions instead? Looking at the leaderboards, 42 millions is the 6786th score. If the Black Rose HOF score is really 42M, it's the easiest HOF 1000 points ever!
In TPA, I don't like tables on which you can't play "on the fly" or "wildly" (i.e. you have to strictly follow the rules and make some particular shots, otherwise you score nothing). When I play pinball, I like to just keep the ball alive, shoot randomly, and see what happens. But on some...
Thank you DanBradford (once again, you gave me the missing ones for season 2 too ;) )
We don't have the HOF points on PS3, but it I like the idea to know the scores that it is supposed to reach on a table (although it seems FS has smoked too much stuff for some HOF scores).
OK for marathon tables on which you can score a huge amount of points with one ball. One ball quickly lost is one ball wasted.
But on tough tables (EM tables most of the time), restart is a bad choice IMO.
I put the 18th score on Haunted House after losing the two first ball quickly (~100K...
BTW, can someone list the HOF scores for the 3rd season tables, please?
Pinballarcadeplayers.com is no more updated and I used to check the HOF scores here.
Thanks in advance. :)
HOF scores:
Fish Tales :
Black Rose:
Black Knight 2000 :
WHO Dunnit? :
High Speed :
Junk Yard :
Lights...
Well, the opposite is true too! ^^
You can have a great first ball and mess up the two others balls. Especially on tough and punitive tables like F2K or HH.
For my part, I almost don't track which ball number it is (except for extra-balls). I just try to keep each ball alive as long as...
Never.
I had a lot of very good games starting with the 3rd and last ball (and even some all-time highscores), although I messed up the two first balls.
An outstanding game can start on the 3rd and last ball. That's a rule engraved in the Stone Tablets of Pinball.
Last score.
With the current tournaments, it seems everybody acts the same way:
- Wait for the last two days.
- "Blitzkrieg" or "Armageddon" on each table until you put a very good score.
(that's why I do to save my place in the Gold Tier each time :p)
With a "last score" rule, it would...
