For some reason, the auto updating feature doesn't work properly and the new build isn't downloaded, this is why the game is crashing. Does it crash on any tables or only on new ones?
L33, if it's still crashing for you, can you please send me your mod executable?
It's crashing because you don't have the latest version of the mod, simple as that; don't be fooled by the mod version (1.61), it will always display v1.61 even if the exe is not up to date because it's retrieving the version number from my server. The auto-updating feature is probably an issue...
It's crashing because you probably don't have the latest build of the mod, try to redownload it again: open settings.ini file and delete the last line "CurrentVersion=X.XX", then restart the mod.
I'm currently talking with freezy about this, i've started to work on it yesterday, the goal is to find a way to get the raw dmd data in the game to be able to output it to a real dmd.
Here is what i've made so far, i can write/read every single pixel on the DMD grid.
Hello Florette883, first of all, thanks a lot for the donation, I could buy a lot of beers! :)
It's already possible to use the mod offline and save the actual working version, just run it once with an internet connection and double-click the traybar icon, an offline file (OfflineData.m0d) will...
Good news, I have just performed some tests with the new UI and the mod, adapted the code a bit and they seem to work properly together, still have a few things to fix but it should be ready when the new UI is officially released.
Obviously it won't work properly if you haven't downloaded the latest build of the mod, as soon as a new table support is added into it, you must re-download the mod, it's clearly specified in the download thread...
Not possible at the moment, actually it's based on the source dmd size.
Another solution would be to copy/paste each dmd file to another table name if the dmd size & position is the same.
Yes it's doable, the DMD is located in game's memory, it can be retrieved and converted to any format (it's not as simple as that but this is how it works). I've started to work with this method to display the DMD on a NON-DMD screen when I was searching a way to achieve this some months ago...
