It's a nice game, and in a vacuum I'd say it's above average.
But now I'm reminded what it was that I didn't like as much about it - it's just not Corvette...
I'm pretty sure the RBIoN bonus bug has been fixed, at least on PC and Android - my recollection is that it's the "Believe It Or Not!" quote during the bonus count down that triggered the game to end, and I've had that at least once recently and the game went on okay.
Consoles of course are...
Several tables where the ROM rolls over at 10B have this issue.
You have to very carefully manage the rollover from <10B to >10B otherwise TPA won't register it properly.
Usually this happens with a single very large score triggering the rollover, such as a multiplied Super Jackpot in CftBL or...
Here's an idea. Sign up to be a beta tester. It's free and there are minimal if any restrictions.
So instead of venting in a forum that Farsight aren't obliged to read, reply to, or take any notice of whatsoever, you can make comments in a constructive manner that are seen by Farsight...
I'm sure they'd love to; but it takes a certain mentality to want to live up a mountain an hour and a half's drive from the nearest major city (when it's not been snowing).
...having said all that, FS just updated the TPA FB page and confirmed the Twitch Stream for tomorrow (Thu Jun 30) at 7pm EDT/4pm PDT (those in other parts of the world... do the math yourself)!
So there ya go.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was held off another week. Quite rightly they're concentrating on getting the new UI at the very least stable on all platforms it's been released on.
Chances are, FS can't easily go back to the old UI because they would need to do a lot of work to shoehorn Season...
I thought the same with my TAF rewards. I've got a TAF/TAF Gold reward that I never used because I only had 3 platforms at the time, and thought my 4th "code" could be gifted, but no such luck. I'd like to go back and claim TAF/TAF Gold for Wii U now, but I doubt I can do that!!
Maybe try...
For the record I voted for Victory. Tee'd Off is probably a close second, but since I was playing it a lot last night there may be some bias there.
If Surf N Safari ever comes to TPA, that will go instantly to my #1 :D
The Premier/Gottlieb tables in TPA get a huge bashing. From Cue Ball Wizard to TX-Sector, they're almost universally lambasted with endless amounts of scorn poured over them. Surely though, there's a silver lining somewhere? A diamond in the rough? A secret favorite?
I was playing Tee'd Off...
Remember, these tables were designed to make a profit for the operators. Not to provide hours and hours of endless entertainment on a single quarter (or whatever coins were in use in Italian arcades in the late 70s and early 80s).
I could care less about how it looks, as long as it works properly. Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. (Which is strange, because they did get the Steam beta to a point where it was working quite well. I understand that FS did lose a lot of work due to a recent hardware failure, though...
