On each ball, focus first on the extra ball (upper playfield), and then, once acquired, you can focus on scoring.
I reached a 2 million score (5 balls) doing that (but I was offline :( ), and now, I score around 1.3 million each "normal" game.
For me, it's easier with 5 balls setting, as you...
Erf, bad news... So, it won't be included in the supa-dupa-mega-patch... considering all the others requested tweaks (dual-stage flipper on/off, camera event on/off), added several months after the request, maybe we will get sound settings... in 2015. :o
Whatever, thanks smbhax, for all the...
At, 3'00, when the bride reverts to her fist form, everything lights off!
On CV, maybe because of the video quality, but the playfield looks fuzzy (even in 720p)
In the last PC update, it's just an "overall" sound setting? Like you, I hope for "separate" settings (like in PhOF if I remember correctly: music and/or SFX).
Thanks for the info. Crossed fingers.
At first, I was sceptical about the room brightness... but now, it's a very good feature, very well implemented!
The dark setting is just for "fun", but the bright one seems perfect to play.
Overall, there is a BIG improvement with the lighting show and reflection FX (multiball light show on...
A comparison between dark and bright room settings would have been useful.
Because some tables look so weird... (EATPM, MM -big dark area in the center-). BoP looks "flat" and lacks contrast (far better on PS3!)
On the other side, ToTAN, ToM, and BH are stunning.
PS4 version has some appeal...
A scrolling menu is not the best thing, due to the high number of tables.
Tiles (like in Zen), sorted by manufacturer then year of release, would be good. And with the machine fully displayed on the right (as in the previous UI, before the crappy 90's web-style).
Whatever, FS stated to work on...
Maybe because the online play is not free anymore (although TPA is not concerned... I hope).
Sony gives 10 bucks with one hand but takes 50 bucks with the other one.
The free PSN was good enough. :/
With RGB limited, I have a strange "white film" on the screen (as if there was too much luminosity) using the PS3. However, the TV display settings are OK (using the calibrating image posted above, on a USB stick, with my Philips blu-ray player on the same HDMI output).
When I choose RGB full...
Yep, it depends of the depth of the TV settings. I use this to set my TV (color, constrast, definition, etc) > http://www.ancor-k.com/conseil-et-Mires.htm
I choose RGB Full on the PS3 (dark colors are... darker.^^). And finally, I check and test the settings with TPA and Uncharted 3 (which has...
Very nice idea! Thank you!
Here's my rating (PS3 version, only the first season pack). Some tables (SS, TZ) have a bad rating because don't "feel good" in TPA, moreover on PS3.

Yes, the PS3 version looks like this (ToTAN is one of the best looking tables... mainly because it's in the core pack and can be patched, I guess). Others tables don't look so good (too dark and "flat"... maybe the megapatch will fix this :hope: ). For what I see of the PC version, it looks, in...
I'm not sure, but the "ball texture bug" seems to be more or less fixed.
The custom ball texture is shiny sometimes, and other times, isn't. Weird.
Whatever, when you go back to the regular ball, the texture is now OK (metallic and shiny, not "translucent" like glass)
Playing last night after the update, custom balls are OK on one game, and are messed up on the next game. ??
But now, when you come back to the regular ball, it's OK ("translucent" texture is gone).
The bug seems to be half-fixed. :p
