I have played the table a couple of times IRL and also played the VPM version. I may not be neutral in my opinion because I'm a big NBA fan. But just on the flipper side of things: I really liked the table, fun art, nice DMD animations, great sound and a lot to do although it has not a terrible...
Do any of you guys have a problem with backing up remotely? It keeps crashing for me, back to the iPad's main app screen. iPad2 and iOS 8.1. I tried everything in the book, hard reset, logging in/out, deleting and reinstalling TPA (I can restore to a previous backup made on another iPad2, this...
With the latest update I got the highscore for POTO which was placed correctly at the top of the local high score list, but it still displayed incorrect initials and after trying to update, it crashed afterward (preserving both HOF points and score). I still can't do a remote backup. It now...
A bit offtopic, but have to comment the acrylic Ouya, that looks really cool! I reminds me of the portable computers in old series like Blake's Seven and Buck Rogers...
Oooh, this table divides opinions for sure! I have played a couple of games and it plays exactly like HH minus multiball and minus the gap between the two right-most flippers on the main playing field. And when I say exactly, I mean that the same type of shots follow the physics of HH as a...

Will do! Good to know that the iExplorer thing works. My GF has a mini 1 and although sceptical at first (it was a gift from my dad), now the device is on her nightstand....those iPads sure have a way of creeping into your digital life :) Sounds you made a good deal with that trade-in, I'll...
Thanks MadScience! I was already planning on firstly and only installing TPA on my new iPad Air 2 that I expect in week's time to arrive. That one will offcourse come with the latest iOS out of the box. I'll immediately try out HRC on it to check for crashes. I'm still debating on how to...
Well, my original iPad 2 was sadly dead in the water, so I temporarily migrated to another, similar iPad 2, this one with iOS 8.0 installed. I closed all other apps and did a hard reset, logged in/out of TPA, but HRC is still crashing for me. I'll upgrade to iOS 8.02 to see if it makes any...
High Roller Casino still crashing (see seperate topic on that)
POTO doing funny stuff with highscores and then crashes to app menu (preserving scores and HOF total)
Remote backup may not work because after some time it gives a crash to the app menu, edit: I tried restoring onto another iPad 2...
Thanks Kolchak357, I'll look into the iTunes method! I just remembered that in the early TPA versions, there was no remote backup, so maybe a lot of horror stories date from that time.
Hi all,
In a few days, I'll be a lucky owner of a brand new iPad Air 2, upgrading from my old and trustworthy iPad 2. This will mark the first time I'll migrate to a new device. I have read some horror stories about migrating, losing HOF points, high scores etc. I have frequently and loyally...
I bit the bullet and went for the iPad Air 2, upgrading from the iPad 2. I haven't got it yet so no comparison as of now but I'm excited to get my first retina experience and I also saw that TPA runs much smoother on the iPad Air 1, so I'm expecting a really nice experience in a couple of days...
I want to test, but sadly I'm missing my iPad at the moment, it's in repair because of a sensitivity problem with the touch screen. Will report back ASAP as I get it back!
Bump. I think this needs attention from TPA because in this state the table is not playable. It would be nice to get some more confirmation from other players!
Even as a '90s DMD/toys pinball guy I can heartily support this, I gained new appreciation for EM's through playing them in TPA. There is something very pure about keeping balls alive in EM-tables, it feels very skillful to be able to in any case.
