@Xanjia is the one who’ll know these answers. All I know is I was trying to run TPA on my laptop which then overrided everything I had done on PC. One of the main functions of having a game on Steam is that your data travels with your login to Steam. I don’t believe FarSight has addressed that yet.
I'm not entirely opposed to the idea, but I'm not quite on board either. For one, I don't want to wait for responses as I tend to post the next tourney real soon after the one has ended. A semi solution to this would be that winner is picking for not the upcoming week but the one after, but then...
It's exactly what I did. That same show he had me play Garage Band and Pistol Poker. And then we both gushed over Pinball Magic. Norman is a lot of fun to play pinball with, so if you see him at a show, try to get some games in with him.
We had a good turn out of players for Rome, 33 in total. Here's your top 5...

Seeing as how Star Wars: The Last Jedi is almost upon us, let's hop on that hype train! This week's table is Star...
Whenever I have mentioned Big Bang Bar or any Capcom table to the guys at FarSight, they've never given any indication that getting the rights to them is an issue. The only issue has been what Spork said, them being resource intensive, which as he also pointed out seems to be moot given what GB...
Why do you think I only made it a one ball game?
I've kinda got the table figured out in my head, but executing is sometimes a pain. For instance, that skill shot is beyond precise and I've only managed to hit it maybe 3 times in well over 50 ball launches.
But that's just it, you can't get it to match. In real life, if an insert is lit, it's still legible. No matter how bright you make the lights in game, you'll never duplicate the assault of strobes on a real table without putting in a false whiteout frame of animation. I played a fully LED'd...
Here's the thing, now that I've pointed it out does it bother you? Because I'm one of those people that once you see a thing, you can't unsee it. Like Julia Robert's throbbing forehead vein or the stormtrooper that whacks his head on the doorway. Often times we seemingly aren't bothered by...
Nice perspective on the newcomer angle. There truly have not been any Zen tables that I didn't have to look up the instructions at some point on. I only JUST figured out what I'm supposed to do with Tesla, but the mode start shot is brutally difficult to hit. I am right there with you about real...
I think you've got a pretty good handle on it! I'm a camera assistant for motion pictures and television. I hear lighting discussions every day I work. It is an absolute sin to let details get lost in either blacks or whites. It's all about the highlights in black and the contrast in white...
Ah, thanks for the reminder!
This week we will be going way old skool, and playing Rome. This will be a 1 ball tourney ending on Saturday. You can use whatever upgrades you'd like.
As usual, search shutyertrap to find tourney.
Yep, Firepower II was a huge waste and the reason people should be careful about asking FarSight to complete 'series' pinball. I don't want Comet, Terminator 3, or Fireball 2 either.
There's nothing to worry about regarding FarSight putting out more tables. There's a possibility that actual...
Yep, and though I can run every other table in SPA just fine, GB barely functions IF it even runs at all on my computer. The specs for it are way above all others, at least in terms of CPU.
I don't think anyone would ever say digital pinball is better than real. There are ways though to at least approximate it, whether it's through the physics of the game or the community interaction while playing.
FarSight hasn't run out of the Gottlieb license. Unlike what they have with WMS, there is no limit to the Gottlieb tables they can do as they never have to renew it. I don't know what came of this last renewal with WMS, but I thought the rumor was that it would once and for all give them...

Gonna take a week off with the holiday here in the states, but will announce a new table on the weekend. Thanks for playing...
Interesting. I obviously grew up playing the real things, so TPA had the advantage there. Also, with early Zen tables, the ball felt super heavy and there was no bounce to be had which bugged me a bit. So I played TPA 90% of the time and Zen would get a burst of play here and there, usually when...
