I believe you do not need to worry about graphic card limitations then ;) I had trouble with a few tables before installing the patch.(Corvette was one of them) I could be imagining thinks but to me every thing seems to run more smooth after I installed it. I believe the higher textures on some...
hardware rendering is a must. Had lots of problems before I used that.
Serenseven, there is also a 4gb patch http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php
Very handy if you are using 64 bit windows. Windows normally only uses 2 gb ram for games. This patch lets you use 4 gb in selected x86...
Good luck Kevlar. I am sure it will be worth it in the end. It's a wonderful table. I am hoping to join the club soon. I tried to buy a Addams and Indy(williams) today but those things do not grow on trees here in Norway and you have to be a real gunslinger(quick on the money trigger) if want to...
I voted nr 4 but I will wait and see how it plays before I buy. I love the shiny design and the possibilities of it. I am a little worried about the specs though.
I must admit I got a little pissed off when I read that a new Ipad is coming now. I know I shouldn't be, but a new one so soon means that they could have and should have just waited a month or 2 to get a faster cpu and graphic ship in nr 3. This just stinks of milking the customers. It's the...
Jeff,
I believe so unfortunately. Did not notice before now since I play full screen most of the time. I find most tables looks better when I turn my 24" monitor so I rarely play 16/9 tables anymore.
Uncle Willy,
I think you will find most people here who have played VP lately enjoys it very...
Had the Same thing happen to me. You can get a few of the wizard goals by pure luck on the wheel. Seem to remember NGG was one of the first tables on Hall Of Fame I got all goals for also. Must be one of Pat L. easiest games (in digital form anyway)
I too use it on most of the tables on IPAD (not cftbl and funhouse). I tend to switch between 1 and 4. Not very fond of scrolling though. Portrait mode is superb on IPAD and my first choice (landscape becomes a little to wide for my taste)
There is only one good place to play pinball in Oslo (as far as I know). It is called Tilt and they focus on 90s games. They have a great collection. Whitewater, Indy (will), Addams, Shadow, Cactus Canyon, Terminator 2, Theater of magic, Med Mad, Tales of Ar, Congo + a few others. As it happens...
Ahh, the Atari. Those games were a drainer on the family budget. I believe I enjoyed it more than my parents to put it mildly :). Wise words Silverballs. Btw did you get a special if you hit that Atari logo on the right?
Jeff! This post is like a wildflower in the garden on weeds. Too many negative posts lately on this forum. I can handle them(up to a certain point) but it is refreshing to read something like this from time to time. Good one, mate!
Is there a chance of seeing any Stern tables from the last 10 years next year or is the emulation to tricky to implement? (I know they said they need more time emulating SAM 2 but that was 6 months ago so there might have been some progress since then)
Looks really fantastic if you ask me. Can't wait for this one. I never got to play HOF Gottlieb so this will be brand spanking new to me. Now if only I can keep the ball going more than 10 seconds(ref: Jive Time) I believe this is going to be a fun ride and when it comes to playfield art nothing...
That is a really impressive collection The-Noid. I am so envious that I'm about to burst. I think the reason you have better rounds on the real table is simple. You have access to them and can play them as much as you'd like and therefor your verdict is probably better suited than mine. I too...
