I've played this table twice, got a high score both times, and both times, while entering initials or the stupid "choose your face" whatever, the game entered a state where a forced kill of its process was required. A new game started, the prompt stayed at the bottom, no controls worked, escape...

His next highest score is #150 on WWater, then nine other top-1000 scores. I haven't captured this data yet, but it'll be the next thing I do. I'm eager to see the entire list of (top-1000, anyway) scores they've filtered out.

The TAF flippers seem too shallow to me, too. But they do vary and I think I can recall playing TAF's with shallow flippers. Those Premiers around CBW definitely had the Insta-Catch super-steep flippers that were kind of jokes back then.

I don't think I've ever had the game crash during a pause. And I pause tons, for seconds, minutes, hours, overnight. It does reliably crash when I alt-tab, and sometimes a few minutes after I alt-tab back to the game. So I never alt-tab when I'm going for a high score. This doesn't bother me...
