The Capcom tables are the highest-quality remaining unlicensed DMDs (save SC) and I hope they have a chance of being made. They shouldn't be that rare... PM had 1200 produced, Airborne 1350, Breakshot 1000, and Flipper Football 750, according to ipdb.org. I played the whiz out of PM in San...
1993 is the best, but any year from the true Golden Age of Pinball, 1992-1996, will do. It was wonderful to be a pinball player back then.
I suppose the Silver Age, 1976-1981, would've been very exciting to experience.
It's obvious, but no mention so far, so: they're still in the game, at least on Gorgar which is where I noticed. So not deleted, just blocked from showing on the website.
It's one of my least-favorites, especially that damned song, which would be ok if it were limited to less than 4 plays per game, or even less than 150 plays per game.
Of the top 10 scorers on TAF, I would call 7 well-known pinball wizards: Mark_Miwurdz, Tarek, Space T., Gus, Toolinit, mattenno, and AntonR. At least, they are all in my Top 100 so I would want to know what's bogus about them :). Of the other 3, Failsight is a known hacker, Syntax Terror has...
CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES COME ON!
So much data, so little time. It looks like they deleted a lot of "iffy" scores. Even RBioN has the 10B/20B glitch scores removed. TAFG has a leaderboard. What does "Filter Scores" do?
I liked JD lots back in the 1990s. It's got a great playfield with some shots that are a little bit oddball, outstanding dots and sound, and is very funny to certain tastes -- "10 Years for Littering". I don't think it's any larger than other widebodies but I remember that it seemed really...
But... Season 4 has had zero unlicensed Williams/Bally DMD tables so far. So Season 5 may be very different, but it won't be because of this type of table. :)
Here's a list of production machines. Made with IPDB.org help. Using a strict version of "unlicensed" so no RS or HS2 or R911 etc.
Williams:
Hurricane
Jack*Bot
Bally:
Safe Cracker
Revenge from Mars
The Pinball Circus (not production but particularly notable)
Data East:
Checkpoint

Literally, but after typing it, I thought of the crude meaning. It's hard to go a day in pinball without coming across some kind of vulgarity... :) :(
...My last three balls had a just over 1B bonus. I'm eager to go back and try again, but it'll have to get in line as I played MB a couple...
Thanks for this tip. I'm pretty sure I wasn't doing this before. I use PC/keyboard, and use left/right nudge all the time and up nudge almost never. It works for me about 50% like vikingerik says, or even more if I concentrate on timing. I can get 8X easily now! I've boosted my high score...
OK, I change my mind then... he's back in. Sorry for the back-and-forth, folks.
I remember you proposing it now. Sorry for the forget. I'm game if you guys decide on something.
I would like to know this too! Data like how many hours it takes to get a top 500, top 100, top 20, #1 score, per table.
I have been recording some of my game times lately. I should start taking notes when the top players say how long it took them for a certain score. I know it took me 12...
Gotcha, thanks. What I couldn't remember or didn't know is if TPA always rejected the 1T rollover for some or all platforms.
Here are all of his current high scores (in the top 10,000 or so):
