fromduc has a good point about this helping only the #2 player (or the player immediately behind, if this were done at other ranks).
I don't feel comfortable doing this yet. I think some documentation is needed for a change like this... a list of evidence and reasoning. (And I need to...
I added a "NEW!" text thing to mark scores that are new since 28 days ago. What a month, indeed. I haven't really checked if the code is working right, or if a different way of highlighting is better. (I don't want to get into obsessing about colors, but I think green might be better than...

Scorpion looks just OK to me. I like the pink/magenta colors.
The backglass is one of the ugliest from Williams that I've seen.
Wow. Yuck.
Solar Fire looks like another attempt to copy Black Knight.
I played Grand Lizard a lot in some tournament and liked it a lot. It's yet another...
Cyclone is a LOT overrated. A decent player should have done everything there is to do on that table in five minutes.
Earthshaker is fine if you view it as Lawlor honing his design skills and warming up for Whirlwind.

# of Scores in the Top...
I don't think this is quite true. Most of the top ten scores are from players that are known to be legit.
Maybe you can post some specific scores that you're unsure of?
I think I'm assuming that the song would be a lot more expensive than just Red's voice. That may be wrong. Certainly RS would not be RS without Red. I had to specifically listen, and hard, to pick out the song, once I knew it was there. And it seemed muted when I heard it. I think the song...
Apologies. I think I was trying to refer to this:
- No, we'd probably just delicense anything that was too expensive if we did decide to do that table and it was an issue.
and made a mistake.
It's been several years since I've had the displeasure of playing HS2... but isn't La Grange the main background sound? What would HS2 sound like without the song? I think this is quite a different situation than RS. I didn't even realize RS had a music star or song until being told several...
Is this based on facts, or just your opinion? :) Most people have said that music licenses are extremely expensive, and that makes sense to me. But I would very much like to see some data to support these license speculations... (I would've guessed that STTNG would be way out of the realm...
You made some strange choices to be in your poll. Here are some IPDb top 50 tables with what I think would be high-end licenses that you omitted:
- Spider-Man (Stern, 2007)
- Star Trek (Stern, 2013)
- AC/DC (Stern, 2012)
- Wizard of Oz (Jersey Jack, 2013)
- High Speed II (Williams, 1992)
-...
I've played IJ literally hundreds of times, but never a (working) LotR. So I'd rather see LotR. I don't think many other people think that way, though.
