AFM - hold down the left flipper when you plunge the ball, the ball will go all the way round the loop to the left flipper. Make one of the flashing shots (left orbit, left ramp, right ramp, right orbit) to score the Super Skill Shot.
WD - Plunge the ball into the small gap below the T-A-X-I...
The same as over in the "Favorite" thread, we have a tie for first between POTO and SST, and a distant third for PZ. Will the Phantom prevail or will the bugs get stomped? Or will we need a tie-breaker?
R&TRS was running away with this one but TAF has closed the gap and it's neck-and-neck now. Jack*Bot is a distant third. Which of the two Pat Lawlor heavyweights (sorry ES & SC) will win out? Or will there need to be a rematch?
That happens on PC as well - though I've only played Victory in the last couple of tournaments so I thought it was a tournament bug and not really worth pursuing.
That's where the Q&A linked to in a previous post originated from.
Spent too much time on rec.games.pinball. Usually waiting for the latest rules sheets.
I somehow knew it was a little more complicated that that.
Yeah, I know Williams is still around, they make slot machines. Can't say I frequent casinos so I've never seen on of 'em.
Very similar to the Chicken Run dog. Seen plenty of Shaun The Sheep (my... kids... watch... it... all... the... time...), but not the movie... that's not Bitzer :D
There are 15 votes in this poll so far, and 10 in the corresponding "Favorite Tables" poll created at the exact same time.
Which just goes to show we're all a bunch of whiny haters, I guess.
Season 4 is over, Season 5 is almost upon us, so I can finally do this rating.
By consensus, S4 started out relatively weak, but finished strong. That's somewhat reflected in my ratings, but one of my favorite tables in the season is still from that "weak" start.
1. Jack*Bot
2. Party Zone
3...
The strange thing about that STTNG was, for all the abuse, it played just fine. Those tables were built tough! The DE/Sega/Sterns always looked and felt flimsy to my eye.
Real-world physics don't fix those outlanes either. The worst-abused pinball table I've ever played was an STTNG with the tilt sensor totally broken. Didn't help it was in a student bar.
Most overrated ... Bride of Pinbot, at least the TPA implementation.
Though I agree somewhat with TAF...
