Kinda unlikely with Windows 10 around the corner. Theoretically then there would be a single Windows version that could run on any Windows device.
Has anyone tried to run TPA on a Surface running 8.1?
What's the difference between '82 and '83? Just askin' 'cos '82 is my favorite Zacc table (so far - I'm playing them one by one and still have over a dozen still to go).
It's not just the art team who would be involved though... whoever is responsible for stripping down the tables and putting them back together again would need to get involved, and that's clearly a painstaking task. You can't "touch up" the original photographs if you want improvements, you...
The second plunger is controlled the same way as the main plunger. The game decides which plunger is in use. Red&Ted also has a second plunger on the left-hand side.
Black Knight and Black Knight 2000 both have secondary buttons to control their magna-save features. BK has them left and...
I have one of those too....
There's also a dead one sitting on top of one of the storage bins on my desk at work (the S key went completely spongy).
Then there's also the small matter of... well over 10,000 of them sitting my company's various warehouses at the moment!!
Pinball threads going "off-topic" need to have a firm but fair moderatorly hand guiding them back in line, but it doesn't overly bother me. I've seen enough of it happen over the years to know it's just going to happen - and I've been as guilty as anyone of going with the flow and leaving the...
I got this constantly with the triggers on my X360 controller, so much so that I re-mapped the flippers to the bumpers. (Annoyingly this mapping is not honored when TPA takes control when you're entering your initials - but only when TPA takes control, if there's a delay - BSD is the best...
Oh I'm not far either - 1.5m (or 5ft in "old money"!) at most. The dongle is sitting next to a WiFi dongle as well, not sure if it's interfering. Or maybe it's just a wonky controller. Or dongle. Not sure how I test it out.
It loses connectivity to the dongle, and I have to reconnect it. It doesn't happen so much with fresh batteries, but once the batteries get to about 50% it starts happening more frequently. Long before the lights start cycling to indicate the batteries are low.
When I switched to this strategy I upped my best score to 1.something billion. Of course my not-so-accurate shooting ensured I also managed to snag a BFTK along the way and I also somehow managed to polish off video mode in the same game, so everything was good.
Like a lot of tables where...
I started off my internet life in 1992 on a text-based bulletin board (which still exists, and which I still have an account on, though I very rarely visit any longer) and I'd say a large proportion of the people I know are from there. We went through university, getting jobs, becoming...
Wireless X360; I agree with the wireless acting up mid-game. Oddly DX9 detects that happening and auto-pauses, DX11 doesn't do that.
I may look at upgrading to an XONE controller when Windows 10 comes out, if the wireless support is better.
It means there's more than one user in their database with the same name. This probably indicates that the unique key on user ids is something other than the username - probably the email address or some internal id.
