I really do enjoy the crap out of this table. I tend to let most modes just time out, and my strategy would pretty much be the same whether I was going for that last wizard goal or not. That being said, I restart this table ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME if I haven't gotten at least one multiball on ball...
Well the basic strategy I've been doing is this...
1. whack Ted in the face 5 times for Friday
2. lock balls one and two, activate multiball
3. score at least one jackpot
4. repeat steps 1 and 2 twice
5. score at least one jackpot
6. now you have to whack Ted in the face 10 times to get one...
Ditto. My 'old' moment is a little different though. Hearing GnR on my alternative station. When GnR was popular, same station was playing new wave, so revisionist history on what is acceptable to play on that station made me feel old. Conversely, the classic rock station played Beastie Boy's...
Take a trip across America destroying and blowing up stuff while collecting souvenirs with this week's table, Road Show. How are Red and Ted not on Homeland Security's watch list? Their path of destruction is epic, and yet somehow the immigrant taxi driver is the bad guy?
And here I hate everyone. I'm forced to play pinball and do podcasts about it as a means of appeasing the evil overlord who has kidnapped my wife and kid. It's so time consuming, I'm starting to question if it's all worth it or not. :D
No. FarSight will be written in to any Stern deal newly made, or at least digital pinball will, and Stern could decide who that applies to.
Unless they pull a true fast one, it's gonna be either Johnny Mnemonic or Last Action Hero. Arnold was the bigger expense when getting T2, so I think that...
Who knew a wire frame habitrail was a premium item? Wonder if the flow is disrupted at all in shots, where the LE feeds to the left flipper, setting up a combo for shooting the Ecto ramp again, as opposed to on the PRO feeding to the right for the train ramp. Does is become a right side heavy...
I love the look! Hand drawn art for the win.
Wonder how it actually plays.
Pro doesn't 'look' horrible, but the toys are obviously on the cheaper side. One thing missing, the awesome Ecto Goggle feature which will display holograms of ghosts. Just sounds cool to me.
Used to happen to the Lakers too. You become so confident that a losing record team has no hope in beating you, that you simply mentally forget to show up. Meanwhile the other team looks to this game as the closest to a finals game they'll get to, so they are hyper prepared. So it's just a...
You're at the county fair, you see some rickety rollercoaster that looks like it's held together by nothing more than rubber bands and good wishes, and you think, "sure, why not". Somehow this thing costs 12 tickets (which translates to like $15, which is ridiculous), and you hand them over to...
I watched Johny Mnemonic for the first time maybe 2 years ago. It was terrible, especially when you consider that it has many of the same tech themes as The Matrix. Maybe if I'd seen it back in the day I'd be more forgiving of it. After all, back then I actually liked Tank Girl even with it's...
It's Humble Bundle, they pretty much only do PC sales. Why is it people act this way towards Steam sales, but nobody reacts one bit when it's mobile or console only?
