And Steve still works for FarSight, just not AT FarSight.

    Doctor Who Kickstarter

I'm hoping Mike from FarSight will pop into our podcast this Sunday to shed a little more light on questions pertaining to the re-skin. If not, hopefully he'll answer my questions via email and we can report on them. We go live on Sunday at 12:30pm PST on blab.im if anyone wants to listen then...

    Doctor Who Kickstarter

I admit, it intrigues me. $17 gets you the new version, so that's not terrible and certainly hits within that 'pebble' size donation I felt would help them.

Table of the Week Club...Week 49: STARSHIP TROOPERS

I can answer that right now. I didn't 'get' RBION. I played the crap out of ToM and TotAN, and then the next 2 table packs as they were released. Then I got bored with those and decided to actually read the rules to RBION. It's now in my top 3 tables of TPA. So yeah, it's amazing what being...

    Criticism on Zen Pinball

I truly like Iron Man, but I know I'm in the minority there. I think it falls into the 'extremely difficult' faction with a dash of frustration. V12 and El Dorado? Yep, utter trash.

    Criticism on Zen Pinball

Of that whole list, South Park tables are the only one's I'd like too! I've had Tesla for years and can't figure that thing out for the life of me. I'd recommend trying out Wolverine, Moon Knight, Blade, and Fear Itself for Marvel tables.

Table of the Week Club...Week 49: STARSHIP TROOPERS

I know what you're saying about control. Just when I think I've figured out how to get the shots I want, one rogue bounce and it all goes to pot. Sometimes I get the rhythm of the ramps, other times they elude me completely. Hitting the recon scoop is extremely inconsistent for me, and shooting...

Table of the Week Club...Week 49: STARSHIP TROOPERS

I can attest that it does, as that's how I cleared that wizard but still need the nuke 5 planets!

Tables I Saw at Arcade Expo 2.0 That'd I'd love Pinball Arcade to Have

It'll hold me for a year, then I'll go back for Arcade Expo 3!

    A season 6 2-pack proposal

The thing about Jive Time is it is not even remotely close to being in the same league as other EMs. Gottlieb and Bally were kings of the EMs, not Williams. If we'd had 60+ other EMs and then they wanted to put out Jive Time, fine. For now though, there are way better ones that deserve the spot.

    February 18, 2012 - The Beginning

Nice write up there, Frank. Good to put a date to things. I found the forum in March of '12, and to say it and TPA have had an affect on what I do in my free time is putting it mildly! And yeah, we got a lot of good people in our forum that make it a pleasure to check in on everyday.

Tables I Saw at Arcade Expo 2.0 That'd I'd love Pinball Arcade to Have

Here's all 73 tables I did play at the show... Central Park 1966 Big Shot Fireball 1972 Evil Knievel 1977 Eight Ball 1977 Genie 1979 Hercules...

And it wouldn't be a plea from me if I didn't include NBA Fastbreak. Unfortunately the one at the show drained SDTM due to not being properly tuned, but when it is correct, the table is a blast. Plus, when we get head to head, you can play in real time against another player, scores...

Tables I Saw at Arcade Expo 2.0 That'd I'd love Pinball Arcade to Have

File City Slicker under extremely rare and rather odd. Again, not sure about how it actually plays since I only played it once, but the layout was very different from what I'm used to, especially with how the inlanes worked.

Tables I Saw at Arcade Expo 2.0 That'd I'd love Pinball Arcade to Have

I love me some System 11, and Swords of Fury really caught me by surprise. All sorts of cross table shots, and just really interesting ball movement. There were actually a lot of System 11 games we are sorely lacking, but this one stood out.

Tables I Saw at Arcade Expo 2.0 That'd I'd love Pinball Arcade to Have

I'm not sure how I feel about the actual game play, but Bally's Medusa is from that really wide body era, and it has zipper flippers on the upper half! We don't have one of these ultra wide bodies in game yet, and while most are asking for Paragon, I'd probably prefer this.

I also really found Al's Garage Band World Tour to be interesting, especially with the angled spinning disc at the back. One factor that would be lost in TPA is the force feedback you get in the flipper buttons, but they could do something cool with controller rumble to simulate.

Tables I Saw at Arcade Expo 2.0 That'd I'd love Pinball Arcade to Have

A few weeks back, I went to Arcade Expo 2.0 in Banning, CA where I got to see over 600 machines. I also got to hang with Norman from FarSight a little and play a few tables with him. All this was reported on in a podcast a few back, but I thought I'd share here too. I wanted to highlight a...

    Options for continuing TotW

Every week a new thread gets created right here and is stickied to the top. Not the best system, but it's what we have. The goal of the BlahCade is to be able to purchase a domain and build a website for all things BlahCade related, a one stop shop if you will. That's why we are trying to sell...

Table of the Week Club...Week 49: STARSHIP TROOPERS

Haven't really formed an opinion on this table yet (this is truly the first time I've spent any real time playing it), but it's leaning toward positive. Except for that music. Yuck. So I have one wizard left, the nuking 5 planets which reminds me of playing Pin Bot. I've yet to figure out how...
