Okay, I need to clarify since you guys are having a go at me!
It's not that I didn't "see" the lights, but in that mad panic rush of "oh s***, I just lit High Noon!", I couldn't distinguish which blinky light I needed to go for, especially since I had a multiball going at the time.
I'm hideous...
I'm guessing Vector. And will continue guessing Vector. Because people need to get on the Vector bandwagon since the rest of this season is already been spoiled! VECTOR!!
Wow, deja vu.
So my last wizard goal was getting high noon. I wasn't getting very far, and usually it was the combo badge that was screwing me up. I thought, "there has to be a controlled way of getting the combos" and set about discovering it. I could hit the center ramp almost at will from...
Mike said in the podcast (which should be downloadable in the next few hours) DW:R will be in the app, while Ghostbusters won't ever. It will toggle, if I recall correctly, like TAFG does.
Yeah, so this was a few years back. JP came to set to say hello to Nathan Fillion, who of course has done voice work for VB. I offhanded heard someone tell Nathan that "a Jackson Public is here to see you" and my head whipped around to locate him. He stuck around for a bit, chatted with Nathan...
I caught the season premier, have the 2nd episode on my DVR. Love the show. Was totally stoked when Jackson Public visited a set I was working on, totally fawned all over him while everyone else wondered who the hell he was beyond a friend of one of the actors.
I don't think Hell will have to freeze, but it will have to get mighty cold. Norman loves the table and is trying to figure out ways it can be brought to TPA. And I hound him about it every time I talk to him! He seriously likes the idea of another table that can use the head to head play...
CC Continued is by and large what was originally intended. They got extensive notes from the designer and went from there. For instance, there's a 'drunk' mode, where the flipper inputs are reversed for right is controlling left, left controlling right. No idea if tech at the time could handle...
Cactus Canyon Continued is fantastic. Once you've played it, you really see all the things that are missing from regular CC. For instance, there are a lot more 'Polly' moments, where you need to shoot certain combinations to complete the mode. Instead of just being told you averted the bank...
It is important to note that I am notoriously cheap when it comes to buying software. I will hunt and scour and wait just so I don't have to pay full price. Strangely, not a fan of used. Go figure. Jeff brings up a good point that no matter how good the product is, if people don't play it...
Mike Lindsey was on our BlahCade Podcast today and spoke quite a lot about the kickstarter. The BBC wanted them to wait until the final week to offer the info on DW:R, and a lot of the details are entirely up to the BBC. So things like art, which Doctors, if there will be any companions, and the...
Well howdy, partner! Time to saddle up to this week's table, Cactus Canyon. This was the table that took Bally pinball into the proverbial sunset, but even in its incomplete state, is still a blast to play. All sorts of strategies toward playing this one, so spill the beans already!
Highly doubtful they'd be able to do CC Continued. They'd have to pay an additional license to Dutch Pinball, and who knows what deal they made to be able to do it themselves. I told Mike and Norman all about it, said it'd be a shame for them to have CC in office and not have the better game...
Don't know, but it's one of the questions we'll be asking Mike today at 12:30pm on blab.im for the BlahCade Podcast recording session. Anyone can watch, post comments live.
