I set games to five ball for this reason as well. And like any pin, don't forget to nudge. But some of these are pretty cruel. I've on ly played a few Zaccs in real life at pin shows and they were pretty mean too.
This is a fan forum and is not run by Farsight. Many of them do read the forum and post as well though. If you need to get ahold of them contact Farsight support.
This is happening on other tables as well. Happened to me on Jack Bot. I reported it to Farsight and I'm sure others have as well. Hope they fix it soon. It's a real bummer.
Sounds like there won't be any more Stern releases on the original TPA. They will be part of the Stern app.
There have been some juicy rumors about Pinball Magic and Big Bang Bar. But these are unconfirmed of course.
Try them for yourself and see what you think. Most of the time I do prefer the premium/LE version. Like AC/DC for example. I much prefer the prem/LE version of that one. Some it doesn't make much of a difference to me, like Metallica or Star Trek.
I've played Rob Zombie pinball a couple of times at the Allentown pinball show this year. The middle of the playfield is pretty open. One of the shots on the right side was pretty tough to hit. I had pretty long ball times on it but didn't really love it. The art was good. I couldn't...
I think I've played them all other than Goin' Nuts. I'm not a fan of GN, but I cetainly would play it if I saw one. I guess Vegas has the only public one that I'm aware of.

But I think you hit on another issue. It's very difficult to creat a UI for all of these platforms. Having the same UI for a...

The best players I watch all have a great knowledge of the game. This means rule strategy (when to stack etc.) and also how to play the digital version (exploits, when to nudge, railroads, stc). They also have good reflexes and controller coordination. And the stamina and concentration needed...
The look and sound doesn't really bug me. I try to spend as little time in the menu system as possible. I can find a pin to play quicker and just get going, so I find it an improvement.
Are there things I would have done differntly? Sure there are, but I'll get over it.
